Was it not in the manifesto of the Labour Party in the last General Election to give every household free broadband?

SO DO YOU agree with shoot to kill on all knife crime which have killed far more than terrorists this year,ot don't you mind getting killed in a street, drug, gang crime

^

I thought STK only happens if they are vested up. I doubt the drug dealers are.

In this case it's as clear as crystal the mum is extremely economical with the truth, and an irresponsible parent. Blaming the time in prison for the brainwashing of her son? Did she ask what her son was in prison for? A fairly typical response from that community; 1st deny, and then blame others.

It's never their fault always someone else's. Try and accept some responsibilities - he was your son!

I see no reason for not having a law that allows police to shoot to kill anyone carrying a knife/gun . Might sound bad but if a few 'innocent' gang members/drug dealers get shot by mistake then that's collateral damage and anyway it all helps to rid the streets of vermin.

I wonder why someone high up in the religion has not stood up and said this action will not get you to heaven.

Acceptance is not the strongest point of that community - denial is. Any misdemeanour eg traffic offences, sexual offences, benefit fraud, illegal immigration, Uber, etc, their 1st line of defence is denial or plead ignorance of the law.

Ministers face a legal battle over their plans to make terror offenders serve longer in prison, a former government adviser has warned.

Under the changes, such prisoners would no longer be automatically freed at the halfway point of their sentences.

But ex-independent reviewer of terror legislation Lord Carlile said the plans "may be in breach of the law".

PARIS (Reuters) - French police on Sunday shot and wounded a man who had rushed towards a group of policemen with a knife shouting “Allahu akbar” (God is greatest) in the eastern city of Metz, local officials said.

At what point will the dots be joined?

Where there's a will there's a way. Unless the relevant authorities do something drastic (may not be pc) the present scenario will remain. I think the carrying of a knife/knives seems to be the monopoly of British residents specific.

Do something about knife crimes, and the early release of convicted religious terrorists - the law is an ass. And, any individual (learned or not) either talking thro' their pocket or needs a reality check.

No compromise is acceptable when the cowardice act of knifing innocent bystanders esp by religious convicted nutters on the streets of The UK happened repeatedly.

jail the terrorist(or preferably kill them at the scene)  and chuck all his family back to their native country

Agree Cardiff, all this b0ll0x the families spout saying, ''We never knew what he was doing'', If the families were deported to their native country, even if they were born here, they'd make sure they knew what they were doing and inform the authorities straight away

At the end of the day, Capital punishment will be brought back, because everything else has failed,It makes me smile when i hear the so-called professionals in the media say, it wouldn't deter terrorists and murderers, well it would deter the murdering kids who go around stabbing each other, simply, if a knife or a gun is pulled on them, they run away, why do they run away ?, because they don't want to die, if they knew they would die for murder, they'd think twice at the very least, as for terrorists,
Anyone deemed a terrorist, lock them up in a 5hit h0le basic cell, no Quran , and leave them there until they agree to go back to there native muslim country or they die.
Its all so simple but, theres millions to be made for defending the indefensible, and there's many legal people in very high places who don'y want that to end.

Pretty much the same routine every time a terrorist attack happens. Give it a few days and people forget.
Support the minority. Rule the majority.
