Has the coward been named? Was he was British born, and what ethnicity?

Not long released from prison. Jailed for...... erm..... terrorist offences
|
By:
You would think the victims of this attack have legitimate case to sue the government.

Sudesh Aman, 19.

The attacker had been released from prison at the end of January, after serving half of his three year sentence.
Counter-terrorist police and MI5 have around 3,000 so called "subjects of interest" at any one time but a much smaller number are under round-the-clock surveillance because it takes a huge team of specialist officers to watch a suspect covertly. |
By:
Lock them up and throw away the key. This cannot be allowed to happen again. How many more civilians murdered or maimed before enough is enough?
|
By:
Looks like they were tracking his every move but couldn't ask questions until he had used the machete under his jacket.
|
By:
I believe a convicted terrorist must serve the entire sentence imposed. If out on parole the convict must be put on house arrest for at least 20 hours a day and electronically and tagged. They must not be allowed to roam the streets at will.

He sent beheadings videos to his girlfriend - whom he said should kill her "kuffar" parents - and told her: "If you can't make a bomb because family, friends or spies are watching or suspecting you, take a knife, molotov, sound bombs or a car at night and attack the tourists (crusaders), police and soldiers of taghut, or Western Embassies in every country you are in this planet."
In a notebook - in which he had made notes on explosives and detonators - he had written notes on his "goals in life". These included: "Die as a shuhada" (martyr) and go to '"jannah" (paradise). - And there you have it. From the horse’s mouth. |

By:
Same as nonces; you can't rehabilitate certain members of society, therefore save the tax payers a few quid and kill them
|
By:
Its gone , Only hope is to get way from them Leave them in their Enclaves
|
By:
The best way is to close all the mosques.
Without places to pray they will soon fùck off |

also make the cult of Islam illegal, just nobody has any balls to do it

This is the problem with the police killing them. It makes it easier for the next wannabe terrorist to believe he too will go straight to paradise. For these people (if that is the right word) the death penalty is not a deterrent, it is an incentive. We'd be safer if we downgraded the prize to life in one of Her Majesty's hotels. |
By:
All of them who have shown any sign of terrorist tendencies should be rounded up and placed in camps from where they can remain the rest of their miserable lives. It is pointless to believe that anything will change their ideological mindset therefore they will always be a danger to society.
Alternatively just use them for shooting practice. |
By:
Speaking objectively, if someone said they wish to come into a country subscribing to beliefs that all non believers are "kafirs " that will burn in hell because a prophet married to a 6 year old child said so, most sane people would question their mentality. If you put it under the umbrella of Islam, it suddenly becomes multi culturalism with Sadiq Khan saying we must stamp out "islamaphobia "and build more mosques .. anyone questioning these beliefs is accused of a hate crime yet buildings are funded by the tax payer for a religion entrenched in archaic views regarding women as property of men for eg with people being "shocked" when we see events like yesterday/Rotheram grooming etc. The real criminals aren't just these terrorists but the people who create this obsession with tolerating it and helping it flourish. There is nothing "phobic " about fearing a cult like this, it's logical and entirely understandable but in this silly society anyone in the public eye even implying this , will be either sacked or deemed to be racist despite the fact a religion is never a race. If I created my own religion tomorrow which incorporated sacrificing a slug at midnight n my back garden, no one criticising that mad practice would be a " racist".

@posy -- All of them who have shown any sign of terrorist tendencies should be rounded up and placed in camps from where they can remain the rest of their miserable lives.
Yes but there'd only be half a dozen chit-chatters left if you rounded up the ones who said on this forum that they'd watched beheading videos back when ISIL was a thing. |
By:
Come to think of it, watching those videos probably is illegal now, and one of the reasons the Streatham murderer was banged up till a few days ago.

Well Ramruma I'd be one of the remainers as I've never watched a beheading and have no intention of ever doing so. The thrust of my point is that no amount of 're education' will change mindsets and as the first duty of Government is to keep its law abiding citizens safe the only solution is to eliminate the transgressors. I don't really care how Government goes about it as long as they protect the people. 'Human rights' apologists should be ignored ; a pogrom may be the answer.

All we have here are two people knifed and a killing.
Which is standard stuff for a day in London, yet the medio are all over it. This is the future for a soft society such as ours. And the discussions as usual, are all about what went wrong and how we can stop it happening in the future, when all the talk is hot air. Because if they had a clue, things wouldn't go wrong in the first place. |
By:
on a general note this bloke didn't kill anyone, didnt here anyone saying all thoise sikh,s fighting last week should be shot dead no questinos asked, or the weekly now accepted gang deaths on London streets, as said above just another knife attack on a London street by someone far less accomplished with a knife thnt our usual suspects, roads arnt shutdown for 36 hrs after ye normal laandan weekend knife attack, were beginning to do their work glorifying any incident ,they no longer need months to plan, build bombs, hire lorries etc, their getting the same RESULTS FROM POPPING OUT DURING a love island advert break to do a few stabbings, no political slogans,no ali,s snack bar,no beheadings ,claimiong responsibility, video,s,
by the way I have no answers |
By:
One of the big problems is that in the old days being a gangster meant getting hold of a gun, which was hard, and being a terrorist meant buying explosives and making a bomb, which was even harder.
Now, it has been democratised and all of us risk being killed by some lunatic who at a moment's notice can grab a knife out of the kitchen drawer or jump in his car and swerve onto the pavement. How do you prevent that? The Streatham bloke did not think even that far ahead. He shoplifted a £3.99 knife, and stabbed people as he ran down the road. It is all too easy now. |
By:
I guess the Streatham question is that if this bloke was being trailed by the police, why did they not realise he'd got a (fake) suicide jacket on?
|
By:
SO WHY treat it as a terrorist attack giving them the oxygen ,headlines, they crave, I don't suppose anyone killed, injured by these attacks care 2 fooooks whether there by so called terrorists, upset sikh,s,drill music gangsters
|
By:
if these terrorist were in iraq or syria we would probally kill them and claim they were a threat to national security, yet when they are here and an even more threat to national security we let them walk the streets
|
By:
wolf ...your spot on our so called leaders have opened the floodgates and that was the first step to total domination thats all they needed and wanted
|
By:
A "religious" terrorist will remain one for a long time (convicted or not/rehabilitated or not) as their views will remain as their mind is so screwed up and intoxicated.
I think when these cowards killed in our streets (not Iraq or Syria) in the name of Islam (wrongly) the relevant authorities and the government are under scrutiny from "that" immigrant group that supports one of our 2 major political parties. But, I hope the authorities and present government will put the safety of all UK residents before the fear of being accused of racism and discrimination, and make sure these "religious" nutters/killers/cowards serve the entire sentence imposed (no parole), and electronically tagged upon release for at least 5 years. If necessary shoot to kill, I believe, as these animals are not fit to walk or roam the streets of London or any UK city. |
By:
SO DO YOU agree with shoot to kill on all knife crime which have killed far more than terrorists this year,ot don't you mind getting killed in a street, drug, gang crime
|
By:
Of course not. That's an entirely different matter as it usually involves known individuals eg gang members, unless a mistaken identity.
Shoot to kill any religious nutter/terrorist killing/maiming innocent bystander in the streets of London or any UK city; senseless knife crimes amongst street gangs, etc ought to be dealt in another manner eg an automatic custodial sentence for anyone carrying a knife for no good reason not even for self-protection; stop--and-search (tough for those civil libertarians). |

His mother said he was "watching & listening to things online which brainwashed him" in prison. Sounds like the government have lived up to their promise to get everyone online.
