Speaking of the Afghan community, he continued: "A lot of the kids here are coming from war zones and we have done nothing at all once they came here to help them find a way into society and to deal with the traumas that they've been through.''

Oh, so it's our fault?
How did I know that was coming?

The only thing that's our fault, is not sending back from where they came from when we catch them.

One refugee told me quite bluntly, you send soldiers to our countries but when we come here unarmed you start to whine. It hasn't been an even war that's for sure. But Europe has itself to blame. Not because we didn't help them integrate, but because we let them in, let them break our laws and continue to let them get away with it. The Afghans didn't open your borders or cut down the police force, it was the guys you just voted in.

Also I am guessing its not the first time the british govt is supporting minorities to control the larger population. From what little I know of history, the brits did this often overseas.

Don't blame Europe for the actions of Mutty Merkel, no one else wanted them in, they were virtue shamed into it.

I think the plan was to go softly with these types and hope that they'd integrate.
Of course human nature doesn't work like that, and reflects the kind of idiots that pass for MPs in this country.
This going softly with offenders is a cancer that's been kindled in the UK for decades, it doesn't work and it never will.

Can't correct children, can't punish criminals, human rights before justice.
The police are a laughing stock.

And I reckon the worst is yet to come.

Our society is breaking down. I am not wanting to defend low life scum bags so I won't but they are the tip of the problem. If anyone has been to East London recently they can tell you it smells of piss. People openly come out of a tube station and urinate where they want. It is disgusting. People throw rubbish in the street. People park wherever they want without consideration to others. The rich are getting richer by taking everything they can and leave little for the rest.

We need Police on our streets and low level crime to stop being a way of life for too many.

Exactly. And people keep voting the same people in while blaming the afghans. And i've never understood why they expect the people of a country they are at war with to live peacefully with them.

Merkel  is not 'Europe', she single-handedly decided to ruin things for all of us. If any voting population is to blame, it is yours.

Sure. I do blame fellow Germans for not standing up. But if I personally ever wanted to waste my energies complaining about things I would at least know where to direct it. Blaming Islam or the afghans or the rest of the mob is useless as they are just being offered free money and a better lifestyle and its almost their ethical duty to take it. If they didn't someone else will. Its the free money that you need to stop putting out, not whine about anyone who takes it when its on offer.

You kept voting her in, we voted to get away from her influence. You are preaching to the one country who stood up and left.

My lectures are targeted at the whole of Europe but since this forum is mostly brits it leads to them most of the time. I would happily talk about how Austria gave up their territory to German police(we were taking control of the refugees as soon as they arrived at the Hungary/Austria border). But since there aren't any Austrians here I can't possibly have a conversation with anyone on that. Similarly the Italian navy took EU money to bring the libyans in. EU and Libya struck a deal which meant the navy was allowed to access the Libyan port with the excuse of rescuing migrants when they were just picking them up and dropping them into Europe. But again, no Italians here so I don't talk about that.

You're right in standing up to the EU. But nothing will change because the EU didn't cut down your police force or neutered your border patrol. Your own govt is complicit in this and they always side with the minority because then you get to complain about the minority and not the government. This is a very basic political strategy.

There was no problem with the borders, safer and people still got where they wanted, just no good for illegals and the dangerous which is how it should be...

Drove to Austria from England in 1994 and plenty of border stops, not a problem, of course the idiotic EU opened them all and as added bonus let 2 million unchecked mostly muslim men in, GENIUS!

love phillips and his QT crew the only reason knife crime is high up the agenda is because its left the sink estates and now involves them and their kids walking the streets, phillips banging on about no go zones caretakers, park keepers etc etc, why do these self entitled loons think there,s a queue of people  waiting to sign up to work in parks etc confronting knife wielding maniacs for minimum wage to keep the likes of phillips and his QT crew safe

I don't think he is wrong. But the refugee crisis and Brexit have confused the public regarding illegal migration. The people that enter UK illegally are entirely UK's fault. And those people will continue to come until and unless the UK makes an attempt to stop them. As it stands, they are not interested in stopping the influx as there is considerable support for muslims from the tory givernment and the influx, which is mainly from muslim countries, only helps them.

She wrecked the EU, of which the UK is a part.
The illegal migration is entirely UK's fault like I said. Leaving EU does not make a difference in that regard. But people like to think it does.

Interesting, because if the influx of Muslims and other non-Christians to the UK keeps you awake at night, the percentage is about to multiply eightfold post-Brexit.

Nice work, Leavers.

Let's have one good reason why it would increase.

Because the EU is an alliance of 28 Christian democracies, but only comprise 1 in 10 of the world population. Brexit means that we are turning our backs on their citizens to the advantage of people further afield.

And one good reason why the increase will be eight-fold.

Net non-EU immigration has already increased from 1 in 2 to 7 in 8. The top four countries for non-EU immigration are India, Pakistan, Nigeria and Bangladesh.
By:

The first part sounds nonsense to me. Correct me if I am wrong, but after Brexit, EU people will still be able to go to the UK and work there. They will just need to go through more paperwork getting visas and work permissions, which will be granted as you need someone to work the lower jobs. No one is turning their backs on the rest of Europe. Christianity seems to have survived long enough without everyone belonging to the same political club. No point bringing religion into this.

I don't know if your figures are for legal or illegal immigration or both. As I have always maintained, illegals entering UK won't feel any difference with Brexit.

I hear that a lot of this violent crime comes from visitors that have arrived here from war torn countries and they have witnessed despicable things.... It was on qt on Thursday night.

How come no massive increase in violent crime in 1918 or 1945 when the tommies came home after witnessing the horrors of war
