It's about the child abuse revelations in Rochdale and other towns; harrowing testimony from victims and shocking truth from those who spoke out.

Pakistani heritage look away now!

I fell asleep 3/4 way thro' the programme. Will try and watch the rest some time in the future. But, what I saw and listened were very grim, sad and incredulous how it was allowed to happen in The UK all because the relevant agencies and authorities were scared of stoking racial tension.

Racial tension should not come before the systematic and industrial grooming of vulnerable young white females by gangs of mini-cab drivers of Pakistani heritage for over 30 years.

I watch TV to be entertained. This sounds like very heavy going so not for me. And I am usually asleep by 9.30.

I watch TV to be entertained too, and to be educated and to be informed. This programme was a wake-up call as to how a heinous crime could be swept-under-the-carpet if the relevant "professionals", agencies and authorities chose dereliction of duties over possible racial tension.

Let's hope the perpetrators are brought to justice very soon and incarcerated for a long time.

not just the perpetrators  but those who knew and let it happen, get after them make it as uncomfortable as possible for the lot of them.

This was a repeat of a 2+ year old programme. It was originally shown on BBC1 to accompany a drama series they were showing about the Rochdale scandal

There are at least 3 charities operating in this country. They advertise regularly to ask for money to protect young girls as young as 8 from fgm and early marriage,  leading to death from early pregnancies etc.    One is Care International - I hope they have success but I bet the 'community' will not be so happy about it!!!

Not many like to discuss it and even less people want to do anything  - too many votes at risk   -  MUST NOT UPSET is the watchword!!

The public must be made aware of this heinous crime irrespective of perpetrators. But, if it's a community specific like this one is ie of Pakistani heritage then that community must be named (shamed even) if the community concerned behaved as if the vile sexual crimes did not happen or kept quiet throughout even esp if they knew who the offenders were just because the victims were not from their community.

The possibility of racial tension must take priority before the law when sexual crimes have been perpetrated by a specific community against another in a vulnerable position. The Rule of Law is sacrosanct and must not be compromised.

why - they don't think so, neither do the politicians and neither do their supporters or neither do the obfuscaters   on here who try to use the raycyst label - etc etc etc

anyone opposing gets binned  - particularly any politico who utters anything seen as anti muslim

Didn't see it, no wonder the way they've scheduled it Crazy

tucked away in dark corner, swept under the carpet, much like the crimes against those kids

meanwhile the BBC and CH4 (esp CH4) are ramping up their islamo-friendly programming Cry

I meant "the possibility of racial tension must not take priority before the Law..."

Not acting on or not acknowledging a crime of this nature and magnitude will not happen again (ever), and citing racial discrimination will not hold water either; the politicians have only one agenda ie get voted in thus securing the necessary votes regardless even by unlawful means, if they think they will get away with it.

Trouble At The Mosque on London Live Channel 8 (Freeview) now. Its about the western mosques becoming a breeding ground for fundamentalism by some imams who were abusing a largely unregulated and unstructured system.

I did not realise pedophiliac imams were tolerated and supported by some trustees of mosques. That is scaryyyyyyyyy!
