Had the privilege of nipping into Ladbrokes new hi-tech shop in Birmingham last Saturday.
Was expecting to see it full of young wealthy hipster types attracted by the latest gambling technology.
Seemed to be full of old, semi-homeless types attracted by the comfortable sofas, free entertainment and escaping the cold.

I thought the new concept was going to be something silly like actually taking a decent bet.
Credit cards are often charged as a cash withdrawal, with a fee. I can't see this as a deterrent, as they'll still use the credit card to fund a debit card. Business as usual imo
Wait until the world is cashless and it wont be long-a fee every transaction-what a ****g scam
