foyleswar,,are your 2 bollocks still hanging down mate,,  its just a young lad woke up in agony the other week ,,turned out 1 of his knackers had went up,, he had to get and operation to take it off,,,

yes still hanging ! came on all of a sudden friday night sat morning, gonna give it a few days and hope it goes, as i say might have turned over in my sleep and squashed my  jacobs between my thighs hopefully . thanks gin hope its not that havent been pishing blood or any of those symptoms !

I've had a fear of you know what in regards to testicles since I was about 13, constantly checking them absolutely convinced I had a lump at one point, its not healthy to grab them and constantly check them so anyone reading this please don't do this as it can be dangerous

I'm sure its fine and as you say its probably because of something silly like squashing them between the thighs whilst asleep

Do they hurt when you feel them?

Nearly 20 years ago, I had a nagging ache between my legs, akin to toothache, it just wouldn't go away.
After about a week or so, I went to the doc, for a check up. She had a rumble about in the toilet tennis
bag, and asked what I was doing that afternoon?... I thought she was going to ask me if I wanted to see
her new house or something?
Anyway, she said to go to the nearby hospital.. 'they'll be waiting', she said!
I got there a couple of hours later, and on the desk at the oncology department (I was aware by this time
what was going on, although not told directly) was a large red folder, with my name on it.
Underneath my name, in big bold letters...'Without delay'
Got seen by a number of consultants, had ultrasound, poked and prodded etc. Informed it was testicular cancer.
Told to report to the hospital the following Wednesday. Booked in at 8.30 am, operated on at midday, where they removed
one of my crown jewels... sent home the following morning.
Extremely lucky in that I had no further treatment, eg chemo/radiotherapy, unlike some who weren't caught in time.
5 years later after regular visits for checkups/scans and things, I was given an all clear discharge.
So... if in doubt, get it checked.
You only get one chance.

Yep was also in same position as John, if your'e worried I'm being blunt here don't @@@@ about get down to the doctors.

I'd be off to the doctors if its in that region and has been aching for more than a day

They don't usually ache for very long when catching them, about 2 minutes and the sudden pain has gone and the ache goes a few minutes later

Unless you've done something like rupture it

But that's more painful and you'd need to go to the hospital right away

My uncle never went to the doctors until it was to late we found out after his funeral and his brother took his laptop etc and found out he was looking on google at the symptoms etc bless him, he knew what he had but refused to go to the hospital. until he'd lost a hell of a lot of weight, and his brother dragged him there but by then it was to late and they couldn't do anything for him

He was scared I think but if he just went when his symptoms started he'd still be here maybe

I feel we all get our one moment with this type of thing, symptoms that simply can't be shaken off and the worry kicks in. but most of the time its nothing.

I've had several ultrasounds relating to lumps in the bollix,the cysts are still there and nothing has shown up on the imaging,all this over a 15 year period,don't think bollock ache is that uncommon for a few days especially if you have some benign cysts or epididymitis..

hi guys booked an earlier appointment yesterday morning and was seen by a female nurse as no doctors appointments were available ,anyway after some questions and a urine sample the time came for her to to have a rummage around the old jacobs with the blue rubber gloves ,after a while she of slight squeezing and fondling she said i am going to get one of the  gps to have a look ,thats when the arshole started to squeak ,wondering what or if she had found she was only gone about 3 mins but it seemed like ages and all sorts of scenarios were going through my mind ( the image  of losing a bollock or 2 was particularly uncomfortable .any way the doc came in and had a rumage he was a bit firmer with his grip and i must have been making those facial expressions that you do whilstlooking at yourself   shaving in a mirror . is that hurting he said occasionally ,it didnt but it was just hoping he wasnt going to squeeze any harder !  anyway after a while he said the magic words "absolutly fine "...............phew..... what a sigh of relief i let out . seems i had probably laid on them whilst sleeping and carrying on working wasnt helping so he told me to take the week off and take some painkillers and rest, no lifting or anything strenuous in that time,  and if the pains come back let them know . touch wood everything will be ok. sound advice from the chit chatters    thanks for the input  guys and good luck .

Many years ago, I was settling in a betting shop and i had this awful pain, not for the 1st time, in my right testicle. I went upstairs and sat on the toilet and I was in agony, it turned out that I had a hernia. Anyway the shop manager called up and asked me if I was ok and when I said no, he called an ambulance. They obviously asked him what had happened to me, because I heard him say, "I dunno, but he's done his b0ll0cks in a betting shop" It hurt me even more as I couldn't stop laughing.
