serious answer - yes and many times -  strange you HAVE to buy a return ticket  so if you stay up in high town  that's it  - wasted ticket - they ain't stupid  - pleasant tea room at the top with super views

the castle pub is worth a visit as is the SVR railway  and nice boozer there too

generally a nice area  taxi  or bus to wolvo  for soccer, horses, speedway and dog racing  plus the great western pub(a step back in time)

There are some lovely walks around Bridgnorth.

Probably what attracted Hitler to the place during WW2, when he had it penciled in for his British headquarters.

I can just picture him eating his fish and chips out of the bag as he strolled across the bridge with Eva and the dogs.
He probably fancied a bit of barbel fishing in the Severn as well if the truth be known.

And of course he be like a child with a new toy car riding the funicular.
