serious answer - yes and many times - strange you HAVE to buy a return ticket so if you stay up in high town that's it - wasted ticket - they ain't stupid - pleasant tea room at the top with super views
the castle pub is worth a visit as is the SVR railway and nice boozer there too generally a nice area taxi or bus to wolvo for soccer, horses, speedway and dog racing plus the great western pub(a step back in time) |

There are some lovely walks around Bridgnorth.
Probably what attracted Hitler to the place during WW2, when he had it penciled in for his British headquarters. I can just picture him eating his fish and chips out of the bag as he strolled across the bridge with Eva and the dogs. He probably fancied a bit of barbel fishing in the Severn as well if the truth be known. And of course he be like a child with a new toy car riding the funicular. |
