12 days after Christmas is the proper time to take down Xmas decorations. You'll bring bad luck on yourself for the whole year if you're not careful.

You're going to go 12 months without a winner the way you're shaping up.
And you're going to take lfc1971 down with you, and he doesn't deserve that.
That's a big mistake you're making there geoff. You're going to go 12 months without a winner the way you're shaping up. And you're going to take lfc1971 down with you, and he doesn't deserve that.
Very powerful forces at work around this time of the year.
My advice would be to throw the decs back up and pronto.
And The Ninth Gate was on the Horror channel last night. Best bit is where Frank Langella sets fire to himself Stayed up until half eleven to watch him douse himself with petrol and go up like a bonfire.
No doubt everyone's catching my drift.

Better not send my New Years texts too late , sent a happy Christmas text to a friend in Slovakia on Christmas Day and she politely told me it was a bit late because they celebrate Christmas Eve in Slovakia it’s very important and she went to midnight Christmas carol service in Bratislava , a church called the blue church , it’s very beautiful if you google it , amazing really . Maybe I’ll go there next year .

There is nothing more magical than Christmas Eve , and the snow on the houses and the gardens and the streets and the and the fields and the trees and the hedges walking at night to the Blue Church of St Elizabeth, Bratislava
Who can deny that ?

I dread the tedious annual Scottish celebrations at this time of the year. What do they call it up there - Hogsmanure?
I see that twerp Jools Holland's got his Hootenanny on again. I suppose I can stand a bit of that before the fireworks start at midnight.
Give it half an hour until the lunatics have let off their bangers and rockets all around my house, then off to bed.
And that will be another year gone.
Happy New Year.

New Year is huge in Scotland, they really push the boat out..which reminds me of a joke:
A Scotsman and his wife were walking past a swanky new restaurant.
"Did you smell that food?" she asked. "It's absolutely incredible!"
Being a kind hearted Scot he thought, "what the hell, I'll treat her!"
....So they walked past it again.
