Mexico, what interests me is that you think you can reason with unreasonable people......

I know swagman
I know TM may appear as an evil , nasty troll but I do believe everybody has some good in them. His posts today we're off the scale- very sad really. A lack of education is no excuse for posting lies & the obsession with "disaster porn" Still most of the people on here are basically decent people sharing their opinions. |
|
By:
i dont think he is evil, just very stupid.
probably the scariest thing is that he believes the carp he spouts on here. |
|
By:
Ok Jolly whats have I got wrong-was it the Government selling off the water or was it the Chemtrails or was it the Direct Energy Weapons or are just clueless-over to you
|
|
By:
Well to be positive we are in total agreement with the "stupid" part of your post.
Not sure if evil is the correct word - accusing thousands of pilots, telecommunications workers etc. Of mass murder without any evidence is certainly not nice. The racism is also a bit naughty. There are millions of people around who are not the brightest cookies but are still decent caring people. & I guess a few the other end who are basically really intelligent but don't care one bit about other people . Wait a month or so and there will be another disaster, plane crash, school shooting, flood, famine, storm, plague of locusts etc... TM will be out in force claiming it was the Rothchild family (without providing and evidence). |
|
By:
terry there is absolutely no way i will debate with someone who has a long history of 'strange beliefs' - i think i am very kind to put it that way.
mexico, you continue to debate with those who have have completely irrational views, facts dont matter to them, it doesnt matter what you say they will continue to espouse their 'fruitacke' views. you give them oxygen, imo they are best ignored, but it is up to you. good luck to one and all |

What a great way to avoid answering questions he hasn't a clue about
Like I said totally clueless. |

Terry
You never answer questions l you post lies & refuse to answer questions about your racist lies. Don't have a go at other people for not answering your silly questions. I've already told you that your Aussie fire "theory " is made up BS. Don't post lies Terry - if you expect people to answer your questions then have the decency to answer questions & provide some links/evidence to back up your claims. |

Whilst not responding to your ignorant idiot accusations WD erm...what ignorant idiot accusations are you referring to precisely treetop? |

Things are looking more dire for the greenies and state govt. Green dominated Local councils refusing to allow hazard reduction burns. Direct pleas from landowner associations to the State govt pointing out no hazard reduction burns in over 20 years completely ignored. A claim that the town of Eden was only saved because of an illegal burn carried out by a land owner now facing a $200,000 fine. National Parks locked up. Literally. Illegal to pick a stick up off the ground to make a camp fire.
|
|
By:
but the experts on here have derided me and others but the evidence is there and they ignore it
greens do more damage financially and practically it was the same with the somerset Levels never mind - we can't allow facts to get in the way of the narrative |
|
By:
Kam,Moisok
Which local governments are green dominated & banning burning. You both failed to provide any evidence to support your claim. Could be true or might be garbage |
|
By:
Illegal to pick a stick up off the ground to make a camp fire.
and how do you think these forest fires started? |
|
By:
It is difficult to see why the Greens would have stopped fire breaks?
They are needed in a country as hot as Aussie, fire is always a danger |
|
By:
English type temperatures for the next 2 weeks in Vic /NSW thankfully

but the experts on here have derided me and others but the evidence is there and they ignore it greens do more damage financially and practically The point is you don't offer any evidence you just witter away. I posted a link to the Green's website above and what their policy is. therhino (someone is experiencing the fires) has posted that the green's are not at fault. Australian bushfires: disinformation spreads about Greens party policy on backburning https://factcheck.afp.com/australian-bushfires-disinformation-spreads-about-greens-party-policy-backburning So you deserve deriding. Perhaps you do have a pair and will try and post some evidence but I very much doubt it. |

I put the rain down to climate change warmists.
I remember that farmer screaming at the camera crew 'they stopped me from back burning now I lose my home' or words to that effect greens 1 farmer 0 18,000 to 39,000 polar bear population and they still ask for money at the wwf as they are going to become extinct |

There is a lot of old pony being put about by ignorant idiots who can never provide any source material for their claims
Your post on the 15th at 21-21 WD. I post my opinions, usually from a sense of logic or hearsay and always in good faith but don't like being classed this way. |

If anybody posts something which is clearly their opinion they shouldn't be asked to provide any evidence. The total lies listed on here are about pilots causing fires by spraying "chemtrails " (obviously no evidence ) About 1 Green MP forcing the Aussie government to save money and ban controlled burning (obviously no evidence) Time after time tge normal uneducated few get off on "disaster porn" and have fun in the fact that people are dead. They post some insulting theory . What is unreasonable to expect the slightest bit of evidence to back up those claims? |
|
By:
why is it raining in oz - is it this climate warming stuff?
I thought we were either going to be under water by 2020 or freezing by 2024 remember the report (or rather - guess) that government tried to keep secret?? |
|
By:
so you are saying the wwf are not begging for money for polar bears?
|
|
By:
Points noted Mex but there has been several reports in recent past that the green lobby has been influencing govt behaviour and any concern about that has been summarily dismissed.Nobody has said that one green MP has made the law but their voice and scope of their lobby has influenced decisions over time. When I have spoken to Environment Agency people and contractors this has often been mentioned about farming decisions in UK and my mate has said the same to me about his life in Melbourne.
My real concern is that there has been a tendency to take emotional decisions to support the green lobby without fully checking the unintended consequences that might emanate from such decisions, this could easily be one of them, albeit alongside significant other causes. |

Apparently over one billion wild animals killed.
I had always heard that animals could sense danger early. Is the scale of the fires so big that they had nowhere to migrate to? I find it hard to believe that animals wouldn't be able to move away from the fire in time, especially when the fire is something that approaches at a specific pace and isn't instant like an earthquake. |
|
By:
Just an alarmist figure, they cant prove that number and wont ever be challenged to prove it.
could be billions more if you count spiders. |
|

By:
Comes down to 107 animals in one football field. So not a ridiculous figure but i'm pretty sure the one billion figure already includes some fishy specie that exists in millions within something as small as a seed.

Re the rain that came through, Melbourne got absolutely drenched (was an interesting drive home from work). Some suburbs copped 70mm +, unfortunately the fire areas in Gippsland and the Alpine region did not receive anything like this - they are still on fire. It did significantly clean the air in Melbourne which is great. Sunday morning here and looking over my balcony it seems some is rolling back in, but nothing like what it was.
I'm not sure where the 1 billion animals killed number comes from, I've seen reports of one billion killed vs one billion AFFECTED, no great effort made to explain the difference or what reasoning when in to these estimates so they are definitely to be taken with a grain of salt. |
|
By:
Not sure where I read that but it was over a billion animals killed according to experts.
Just googled it to look for it again and some are saying half a billion 'affected' animals. So probably no one knows. But i'd still like to know why the animals couldn't flee? I would have thought they would have been left stranded somewhere even if they had to leave their natural habitat. But can't understand how they would just die in a firezone. |
|
By:
There wouldn't be an agenda to promote here would there?
|
|
By:
The kangaroos will flee, sometimes there is just nowhere to flee to depending on where they are. Obviously a different story for the koalas, echidnas etc. They don't move very fast...
|
|
By:
and the rhinos?
|
|
By:
Animals cant flee as the fires are not normal, they travel very quickly along the ground, made possible by the consent spraying from above of heavy metals, why cant you guys wake up to what is really happening here, its not like you cant find out for yourselves.
|
|
By:
not into heavy metal

Interesting video Lady - looks scary.
Terry Once again you post some mad theory (aka outright lies) without posting any evidence or providing any details. What were the chemical compounds "sprayed " How many billion tonnes of the stuff was dumped When were they dumped How many thousands of people were involved What area of unpopulated land was "sprayed " How much did this cost? Needless to say Terry it is just total BS. Pure evil to accuse innocent people of the activities you keep claiming. Seek help TM. Don't be so bitter that you "need" to post lies. |

Crazy people, just standing around with that about to hit!
Would it not have been a better idea to get in the cars, and switch the air flow to recycle for a while, and later rely on the pollen filters to provide at least some new airflow? That without considering to outrun it, which would no be futile! When it hits, it will be pitch black, and visibility zero, and could last for hours! |
|
By:
Not much oxygen in a car, for maybe five people, and with the engines running the filters would soon be blocked, and the engines would die, and then the people would die!
Very scary stuff indeed! |
