' ....... Thunberg should not be campaigning, but 'drinking Lambrini and getting fingered.....' And you find that disgusting comment funny ???! |
|
By:
I only saw the clip on a news site but yes I did. The comedian who said it was being paid to make people laugh. The complaints from Independent readers made me laugh some more.

Facts pathetic and unceasing virtue signalling I find funniest of all

What's pathetic is verbally attacking a teenager who's prepared to stand up for herself and by the way, who doesn't seem the slightest bit worried about the idiots who do it.
|
|
By:
yes it is brilliant PR - you can't have a go at a dodgy theory presented by someone who is ill
so then why is she there - who put here there? |
|
By:
ps she has a whole team backing her she is not standing up for herself - it is a scam a movement and it is there to take your money
ho ho |
|
By:
Aye, ' a teenager who's prepared to stand up for herself ' is so far from the truth
|
|
By:
She isn't standing up for herself. She is just standing up on behalf of the young generation because some adults think we are doomed and there's a lot of money to be made saving us from this scenario, a scenario that will never play out in our lifetime, but we have to pay our hard earned to avoid.
The only thing we know for sure is that such scaremongering has definitely happened before AND proven wrong. What we don't know for sure is exactly what Greta and her team claims. |

we were told we would be underwater by 2024

I'm gonna wear a vest.. |

Greta has done a fantastic job of yanking your chains. She has you not knowing what to criticize next.
|
|
By:
She'll be ignored or ridiculed by enough to make her slip quietly away and do something else, you'll need a new pied piper then.
|
|
By:
I don't need a pied piper. It seems you do though as she's leading you and has you dancing to her tune.
|
|
By:
Not at all. We're all for changing the record. This one isn't rock'n roll.
|
|
By:
She's still getting noticed by people like you.

More interested in the debate Charlie. I've yet to hear ANY mention let alone criticism of Indonesia for example.
They are the biggest coal exporter in the world yet people stop (electric) trains at Canning Town and tell us to go vegan. Unless these nutters become consistent in their arguments they will continue to invite ridicule. |
|
By:
Didn't take a lot of effort for me:
https://www.carbonbrief.org/the-carbon-brief-profile-indonesia The nutters are the people who don't believe climate change. |
|
By:
Oh I believe in it. I don't believe in global ACM though.
The wild fires in Australia are largely arson and failure to burn strips of land. The floods here are lack of dredging of rivers. Building on flood plains also continues to be a foolish policy.. The planet isn't warming because I eat meat and drive a diesel. |
|
By:
It is ACM.
Saying fires in Aussieland are largely arson and failure to burn strips of land is a guess. Temperature recording isn't although some of the historical data may be dubious. The planet is warming because you eat meat and drive a diesel. |

A secret report, suppressed by US defence chiefs and obtained by The Observer, warns that major European cities will be sunk beneath rising seas as Britain is plunged into a 'Siberian' climate by 2020. Nuclear conflict, mega-droughts, famine and widespread rioting will erupt across the world.
_____________________________________________ well, we did have the London riots |

It was actually a Top Secret Report. Everybody who read it is dead.

charlie is one of the deniers - or is it 'in denial' the report never existed

did you know 6 expeditions set out to do some warming work and there was too much ice for them to proceed
or the bears are at huge risk despite going from 18,000 to 39,000 population used by charlie's friends to scoop millions in cash WWF ho ho and a poster 'boy' of the warmist movement - seems we have been lied to but they continue with the same propaganda |

By:
Very well repeated moisok. I'm proud of you for that.

10 minutes ago I was converted. I am now a Greta fan. Great the great.
Train fares in Germany lowered to tackle climate change. Now I know why my ticket from Hamburg to Munich only cost 20 euros!!! Thank you Greta. Carry on your great work. |
|
By:
Greta is passionate about her cause so good for her ...she's achieved me than me by 16 than if i live to 5,000 ... you don't actually have to agree with her .

Now I know why my ticket from Hamburg to Munich only cost 20 euros!!! Is that true? It's a fair distance.
|
|
By:
Yes Charlie. But it's for the end of Feb. Usually you can get one for 30 euros. But they reduced taxes to encourage people to travel by train which resulted in fare reduction. Very good for someone like me who travels once or twice every month.
|
|
By:
Are you saying anyone can travel from Hamburg to Munich for 30 euros at any time of the year? So 60 euros return?
|
|
By:
In the past you could travel that route for 30 euros one way as long as you bought in advance. Thanks to Greta now, the same ticket costs 20 euros one way.
Obviously you won't always get the ideal connections and time slots for that price but the option to travel for that price is always there. I got a direct train from Duisburg to Munich for this month for 20 euros. |

Incredible. Thanks.
