NETFLIX - Ploughing through

Peppa Pig and Gerald Giraffe are the best things you'll find on there.

There is a lot of chaff to sort through on Netflix. I watched the first two episodes of Wisting last night on BBC4. Very engaging so far.

Never Mind The Quality, Feel The Width

An Innocent Man is a good true crime series,based on two crimes in a small town in usa, if you havn't read both books both are absolute musts they will make you so angry at the injustice out there.

"The Railway Man" with Colin Firth is well worthy of a viewing.

"The Revenant" with DiCaprio and Tom Hardy is also very good.

I've had both Netflix and Amazon Prime Video this past year.

For films Amazon is streets ahead, especially classics and older cinema. There are barely any films from the last millenium on Netflix.

Yet, Netflix is branded (and thought of) as the best and only choice

poppy, what films can you recommend from Amazon please?

Watch the Andy Murray documentary Resurfacing, you will not be disappointed......

I thought that Green Book on Amazon Prime is well worth watching..

Not having older films is hardly a disadvantage. They invest a lot of money in making films and know how profitable it is to have past films on the platform. Fk all I would say. Their audience on avg is younger as well. If i want to watch a classic I just watch it on youtube, most are there for free.

I also don't understand prime. I pay for the membership but I can watch some of the movies while I have to rent or pay for some of them. It p1sses me off when I open prime video, search for the movie, and find out I have to pay for it. No such thing with Netflix. I do not have netflix now and have prime only because they offered it for free for a year.

Amazon understand Prime.

Don't F**k with cats, 3 part Documentary....  Well worth a watch.
