does this delete your Photos on your phone? I tried sending them via bluetooth to ipad/laptop and connecting to laptop with cable but doesn't works.

Anyone know if it removes all pics?

Factory reset means everything will be lost. Are you on the cloud, you can send everything you need there and retrieve.

I'm not no, some google searches say it doesn't remove pics but thought that couldn't be trueSad

Right, go to the pics you want to save, select them by holding photo, you should see a symbol for share, save to drive, each photo. These will be saved in drive for you and the factory reset will not affect any saved. If you are not sure, Google "save photos to android cloud". Any issues or not sure come back to thread.

As always Darren, if you are not 100%,leave reset and call into a mobile shop of your network, rather than lose precious photos of children etc.. GL, I'm off to bed.

thanks deplasterer, managed after several dozen tries to send my photos/videos to my laptop via phone to laptop cable, kept saying it didn't recognise the advice for ages, then after rescuing them, reset my phone to factory conditions and it did wipe the pics so lucky there!

happened when whatsapp asked me to update to new version, it couldn't because it said not enough storage space on phone, started to disable apps I didn't use or thought I didn't, seemed I disabled/forced stop 1 too many, including google play, contacts disappeared, couldn't use phone, froze when 1 number pressed etc

lesson learned, be careful what you're fiddling about with in application manager as it can cause permanent errors!

Happy days Darren. Be sure to save your photos on a file in your laptop also as a back up.
