toryscum gonna toryscum.

The removal of clauses pledging alignment with the EU on workers’ rights. The government on Thursday promised in the Queen’s speech that workers’ rights would instead be “protected and enhanced” under an employment bill.

You expect this from the likes of Boris, it's the people who voted him that are the real disgrace.

MPs have backed Prime Minister Boris Johnson's plan for the UK to leave the EU on 31 January.

They voted 358 to 234 in favour of the EU (Withdrawal Agreement) Bill, which now goes on to further scrutiny in the House of Commons and House of Lords.

The bill also bans an extension of the transition period - during which the UK is out of the EU but follows many of its rules - past 2020.

We're on our way Love

Commons erupts as Boris ridicules Lib Dems for abandoning Brexit policy

BORIS JOHNSON mocked the Liberal Democrats in the House of Commons for abandoning their Brexit policy as he brought forward his Brexit deal to MPs on Friday.

Speaking in the House of Commons, Mr Johnson said: “The policy of the Lib Dems is now to have another referendum.

“They’ve abandoned revoke, they now want another referendum.

“When they work their policy out, I will give way.”

MPs were in stitches from his comment.

Johnson will break his Brexit promises. Labour must be forensic in exposing this

Polly Toynbee

When the Tories fail to bluster through, the new Labour leadership should be clear about the kind of Brexit the UK needs

Boris Johnson ‘plots revenge’ on Supreme Court with radical reforms after Brexit showdown

BORIS JOHNSON is set to roll out a series of radical reforms of the judiciary including the Supreme Court as he seeks to get “revenge” on the system which thwarted his Brexit plan by declaring his prorogation of Parliament unlawful.

You are being royally shafted by a group of thugs PlainLaugh

And all his followers who wont benefit a dime from it think its their idea and victory Crazy

Until Nigel Farage jumped into bed with him the newly born Boris brigade thought he was a clown and to not be trusted, Farage comes out and endorses his deal, tells his followers to vote Tory to "get brexit done" and all of a sudden they hop, skipping and jumping into their cages Crazy its absolutely bonkers

This is the same lot who once upon a time said voting was pointless, the system is bent and we need to change it from the bottom, all of a sudden they are voting Trump and the Tories LaughLaughLaughLaugh

Me thinks they don't quite realise the irony of it all, they can't fathom they've been fooled on a gigantic scale, or its plain cognitive dissonance
By:
SontaranStratagem

I thought the lefties were brainless but this lot take the biscuit, at least the left don't go away from their beliefs, they believe this and vote accordingly

The "right" think the system is corrupt and they hate the man, but yet vote for a man in a suit and ultimately vote for the state/system

Irony

Just stating the obvious

they can't shout from the rooftops about this and that and then go against it all down the line, without being pulled up on it

If you debate them they call you a "remoaner" ffs Laugh its basically the left with a different buzz word, there's being "racist"

Both sides are as bad as each other

But the leave side proclaim to be of higher intelligence, "right and wrong", without realising they are just using different buzz phrases, memes and buzz words

That's what I'm getting at. The people on the outside looking in are not lefties, leavers or remainers etc, but you debate either side and call out their hypocrisy you get labelled a racist or a remoaner

Well you're bound to get that with such a close result dori

51.9 vs 49.1 is very close in anyones book, but when you realise that 12 million other eligible voters people didn't vote in that referendum, and there's 65 million people in this country, you can clearly see the vote winner can't really claim to have a majority Confused

Fair dues you won but there's nearly 50 million people that didn't vote for what they did, you have to add the kids into this because they share the house with everyone else as well
By:

Doridu, we have a Yorkshire version of anxious (more dour) who's knowledge of politics is huge. He will vote Labour -whatever kind of leadership that results in- simply because he is ideologically opposed to Conservatism, and that's that. Oil and water will never mix.
By:
SontaranStratagem
When: 21 Dec 19 13:28
It makes zero difference debating really because the tories won a majority and will be delivering a form of it

Not what the leave voters voted for but some form they'll get

"everybody gets what nobody wants" - "that's democracy, Dennis"
