I don’t think I have ever seen a snake. I suppose I must have some time but can’t remember it.

Yes it can. Cobra venom is used in several medicines.

Googled it. The 2 poisonous snakes are the Japanese Grass Snake and the Common Garter Snake.
|
|
By:
They’re not venomous, just poisonous. As long as you don’t eat them, they’re harmless.

As promised.
An economics professor at a local college made a statement that he had never given a single student An A grade before, but had recently given an entire class A grades. That class had insisted that socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer. The professor then said, “OK, we will have an experiment in this class on this ideological plan”. All grades will be averaged and everyone will receive the same grade.…. (substituting grades for £ 's ) something closer to home and more readily understood by all). After the first test, the grades were averaged and everyone got a D. The students who studied hard were content because they knew they had given their best but the students who studied little were uneasy knowing they had not pulled their weight. As the second test rolled around, most of the students who had previously studied little realised that for their own good and for the greater good of the class they also needed to study hard. The students who had studied hard for the first test did so again because they liked to give their best. The second test average was a C! Most of the students were happy because they could see that the class were pulling in the same direction. When the 3rd test rolled around, the average was a B. As the tests proceeded, the scores increased as the students realised that if they worked hard they would be rewarded and everyone would be better off. The class wasn't surprised when for the final test they got an A grade. To the great surprise of the professor he had realised that socialism would benefit the many not just a few. When people work hard and receive ample reward everyone benefits. When the government favour a few and punish the many society becomes divided and disillusioned. It could not be any simpler than that. There are five morals to this story: 1. You cannot force the poor into prosperity by increasing the wealth of the rich. 2. What one wealthy person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. 3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. 4. You cannot produce a united nation by dividing it! 5. When half of the people get the idea that the government will make them wealthier they don't care who has to suffer. When the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that is the beginning of the end of any nation... |
