anxious - if JC had a credible position on Brexit (i.e leave) he would have won more seats.

Remainers did NOT flock to the Cancel Democracy Party (Lib Dems) and they hated JC's middle of the road ambiguity. They preferred to honour the 2016 vote.

Mark Tami MP: I think our policy on Brexit was, well... if you stand in the middle of the road, you get run over. It was very hard for us to explain our position on the issue, that was a problem.

The polls suggest that whilst Labour's stance on BREXIT was an issue, the much bigger issue was Corbyn himself and his hapless front bench.  I agree with rommel that any credible Labour leader with sensible policies would have won.  Never had the Tories been so weak and there for the taking.

Remain and left leaning Tories like myself were forced to vote for Boris.  Corbyn's policies would have been a disaster.

You weren’t the important vote , it was labour leavers who won the referendum and the election

Labour should be glad they lost - would have been a horrible mess to clean up. Now it's all on Boris - he needs to deliver a prosperous Britain - there can be no excuses.

Now that its done we shall see Bullingdon leading a hard right wing populist agenda similar to his mate the fat cheeseburger , there will be a few crumbs of trickle down thrown his new friends in the north , give it 18 months a you will see the true agenda , more anti trade union laws , more tax cuts for the rich , more weapons of mass destruction , more seling arms to despot regimes , more zero hours ,  they cant help themselves if you are inherently evil you will not be able to hide that

The labour party wanted to give the vote to foreigners, open borders without restriction and they wanted Britain to "begin making some reparations for our colonial past"
It is a party that hates Britain and is full of people who hate Britain.
Corbyn and McDonnell the chief haters

People get tired of being preached to by the likes of Corbyn and McDonnell and the various ethnics within that party and living in this great and beautiful country
Its as simple as that, stop preaching to the British people

Labour also wanted to brainwash school children about Britain's colonial past, even more than it happens already.

We concentrated on sectional interests and ignored the issues that affected the other 35 million who voted - quite simple
really.
none of you are members  but if you saw the begging letter I got for 1 pound or 3 pound etc etc and the picture that came with it you would understand   or the pic when Jeremy countered  anti semitism showing that we were a non racist party

you must have seen that - it said it all about their target groups - to put it kindly  - ignored the midlands and northern non diaspora vote -  but london stayed red  - for a very good reason.  I am being very delicate here as I will be accused of all sorts of things.

Labour's solitary core voter group now is the Sharia Law vote. That held up significantly, while Labour were deserted by white traditional working-class voters, and this time even the easily-bribed, delusional young people did not have the impact of 2017.

Most members are radical momentum though, and by far the majority of Labour voters are not members.  Had most members seen those letters, I'm sure the margin of defeat would've been that much bigger.  One of the differences between 2017 and 2019, is that the Corbynista grip on the Labour party had tightened, and as a result his new policies showed his true agenda which wasn't as apparent in 2017.

I supported and voted for Jeremy, but he was a back bencher and unfortunately carried on like one.  But it is lansman and his cronies at the NEC - I have gone on about it all year but have been laughed at.  No one is laughing now but their heads are still stuck in the sand in many areas of policy, constituencies and power.   It will be a long 5 years.  I hope we can steer away from this SOCIALIST WORKER mentality coz that is what it is - I don't know how many are in the party but the tactics are very similar.

Common sense in the country has prevailed albeit with the least worst option.
Polls have shown that the reason for lab people deserting lab was JC.
In Wigan 1 in 4 who previously voted lab did not do so and there have been many similar instances.

I expect labour to adhere to Einstein’s definition of insanity and elect a Corbynista such as Long-Bailey or Rayner.
We’ll se how far that gets them.
Very sad and they are letting down people who need them.

I suspect you are right.  Don't know much about Long Bailey.  But Angela Rayner has made a mark on my consciousness, because she came across as even thicker than Corbyn and Abbott.  That prolly makes her favourite.
