Ruiz lost only 1 fight as a pro to parker who is not a bad fighter, i think as amateur he is 105 -5 so that is pretty good record these mexicans are tough dudes , they fight to live as the old saying goes

There's only really 2 serious challenges out there in Fury and Wilder I've absolutely gobsmacked people are shocked by AJ "outboxing" him, Ruiz is no boxer he's a lump of meat with a good shot on him if his opponent is daft enough to trade with him in the centre of the ring  |

People want to see Joshua, Wilder, Fury fight each other but usual trash talk but nothing will be arranged.

I think the problem with boxing Sontaran is that it is a business.
Which is why we often have more than one World Champion. It makes more money. At the moment I would rate Tyson Fury as the best Heavyweight Boxer in the World whether there is ever a unification, I do not know? I think Daniel Dubois is an upcoming British Heavyweight. He is the opposite of Ruiz he has a very impressive physique |

The bloke might have fast hands but up against anyone with any technical ability and Boxing IQ isn't going to be worried about that, you just don't stand in the centre of the ring and trade with him, move around and keep him behind the jab and its goodnight vienna, Ruiz was egging Joshua on to trade with him that's how desperate Ruiz was, and I was half expecting Joshua the dumb to fall into the trap again Joshua did what was needed so fair play to him for that, its just how big a deal is being made of it, Fury was on the True Geordie podcast a week before the fight and he said Ruiz would be the easiest fight for him in the division, pretty much gave Joshua the blue print to beat him. "id jab his face off for 12 rounds"... |

For some on here, Joshua was never going to be the winner was he? This was the best outcome for him and yet people are p1ssed at him. One wonders why they even bothered watching and are still wasting their energies on him.

He did what he needed to do and he should have done that first time around, not traded with a bull in the centre of the ring But the media have proper overhyped the win ffs, it was always going to be an easy win if he used his brain, Ruiz is a fat man with a good punch on him if his opponent opens up and stand there to be hit like an idiot |

Was the fight anywhere on sky etc that I could have paid, reasonably, to watch?
I used to love watching important boxing matches but then along came the big money and all important fights were on at ridiculous times in the morning and at exorbitant prices. But I got caught out this weekend when i saw it was on at 9pm - too late to see it. |
