She paid an arm and a leg and packed him off to a private college where he learned to be a gentleman.

Or the environment outside expensive (college) education could be more important than the education itself ie a good education is no guarantee to good respectable behaviour towards others esp law officers; the behaviours of parent(s) are just as key to the future dna of a young adult.

Sorry to say Ms Abbott is only a force within her own constituency with limited respect only (I've non-Ms Abbott friendly friends in Hackney and Walthamstow) sometimes on sufferance and tolerance; she's not even recognised within "old" Labour only with "chicken" Corbyn - the lowest of the low Labour leader - as leader, mainly because of cronyism. I do not want to sound disrespectful or discourteous but I hope she's not rewarded with a title post her political career - she'd done nothing to warrant it.

'moisok', if the powers to be are serious and willing to stop all these "random" and unnecessary killings of young black youths in the streets of London and elsewhere it would have been much reduced or a non-issue now - its been on-going for a long while - if the parents of the victims have been listened to eg strict measures including imprisonment for carrying a knife for no good reason (I do not mean to protect oneself); the will to do something concrete and quick is lacking, I firmly believe.

Sounds like the police officer earnt their £30 for the year.

If I was the judge I'd order the removal of the culprits ie the teeth responsible. I'd order to have them extracted at a dentist of the offender's choice - that's only fair. Only immature adults or kids will ever do that - I've never done that to anyone or animal.

Biting aside, I find spittin at someone inexcusably reprehensible.

Spitting at another person is only confined to the childish and uneducated from a lower spectrum of society. Others would prefer verbal communication.

Her Position Must come into Question , Cannot believe the Tories have not brought this Issue up ?

There's no need...Tories are doing well as it is - Labour are self-imploding; bringing this up could rebound negatively (unnecessarily) being Ms Abbott and family. The majority the British people will never vote for Ms Abbott as Home Sec - she's form, and lacking abilities even in this carp political arena; always championing her cousins and blaming every governments for their lack of success comparatively.

Self-help is the best possible way forward. It may take longer, but it's assured, secured, sustainable and it lasts.

Compare the lefty media’s coverage of Abbott’s son’s disgusting behaviour and Boris’s eavesdropped spat with his girlfriend. One, a minor incident, was headline news for a week. The other, a serious criminal offence, hardly mentioned at all.

It's baffling and concerning at the same time. We do not wish to intrude on family predicament, but this event (if true) is public news, why? Ms Abbott is a shadow home sec, and her son a (probable) MP in-waiting thus the public will need to know about his character and integrity at the very least. And, biting a serving police officer is non-MP conducive regardless unless in a life or death situation eg being choked near extinction.

He'll probably draw a lot of street cred from Labour supporters for biting a police office.
I doubt if it'll do any harm to Miss Diane's prospects of being re-elected.

It's like Corbyn and his anti-Semitism that's operating within the Labour party, it isn't that that's losing him votes.
It's the sheer incompetence of Labour's far-left to even appear vaguely credible to those who follow politics.

I think Ms Abbott is too conscious of her complexion; always complaining and criticising authorities and governments for not doing enough to assist her ethnic group; little self-help, ambition or aspiration, but merely unconditional assistance. Other minority groups have achieved more despite a later entry into The UK.

I am always intrigued by what people who consider themselves to be "left wing" and "progressive" really think. Both of these terms mean different things to different people and anyone who disagrees is either "right wing" or regressive. So anyone who feels hard done by because their living standards have fallen and blame taxes and economic migrants are right wing and regressive are they? Labour believe that top politicians should take control of most of the economy instead of entrepreneurs. In return for that they expect a car and chauffeur paid for by the rest of us instead of a car and chauffeur paid for by shareholders. Nationalised businesses always lose money and the loss has to be covered by taxation. That is true under all Governments as we have seen with steel and railways recently.
