Johnson promises 50,000 more nurses

The real question is. How long does it take to train to become a doctor?

The mystery to me is why people take any politician's claim, let alone one a couple of weeks before election, seriously.

Do you even remember what these guys promised in 2017? And did they fulfill those promises?

But of course it wouldn't actually be 50,000 extra nurses and their maths are wrong as it would cost 2.5 billion to do and not what they said.
Could it just be pre election lies?

In the latest surprise election development, Health Secretary Matt Hancock has announced that 300,000 nurses have been recruited within the NHS.
In an exclusive interview with the BBC, Hancock confirmed the news stating :

"I am very happy to announce that we have today added 300,000 nurses.
They all turned up for work today, having gone home at the end of their last shift.

This is very good news and demonstrates our commitment to our NHS.

I am confident that I will be able to make further announcements before the end of the week, when I should be able to announce that we will have added around 1.5 million nurses this week."

If that is not a statement of past failure I don't know what is.

It is a statement of failure - failure to control the numbers of people coming into the country.

And Labour want even more to come.
