My only hope is that Corbyn stubbornly stays on as leader after the election.

He might get a hung parliament if he plays it well

Problem is the tories get anywhere near 320 seats they can cut a deal with the lib dems and basically make Swinson deputy PM like they did Clegg

I think you're right, SS.

However, in the event of a hung parliament, we could see a Corbyn-led government even if the Tories secure more seats.  I know the LDs and SNP have said they wouldn't work with Lab but don't rule it out because they're not going to do a deal with the Cons.

IFS (Institute for Fiscal Studies)director Paul Johnson said the sums involved were 'colossal' and the idea they could be raised by taxing companies and the wealthy alone was 'not credible'. Even corporation tax would filter through to consumers, or cause job losses.

'Take it from me, these are vast numbers,' he told ITV News.
