I doubt a judge would sentence a 19yo (18 at the time the crime was committed) to death even if capital punishment was re-introduced.

Seems like a fair tariff imo... 26 years. 44 years old, is quite old to start your life.

Hardly seems fair to me. Some people said it was severe, I don’t think so.

If youre gonna make it personal then crucifixion's too good for him or 26 years is too long...  I cant complain.

He'll have to watch his back 24 hours a day, but hopefully it won't be for long.

hard to make head or tail of some of these sentences. 26 years for this low life but a week or so ago boyfriend of ellie gould think he was 17 got only 12 and half years min for stabbing her 13 times and even leaving the knife in her neck. quite clearly he is a psychopath who will always be a danger to women especially

Taiffs for murder are far too short imho. The victim does not get a second chance at life. The low life could be out at 44 when the victim might have been looking forward to a new life as a grandmother. Very sad.

The other thing is these people do not seem to care about being in prison. They have their own gangs inside and their life goes on. I don't  know what the answer is but if you take a life you should not be out for a minimum and I mean minimum of 25 years. 10 years is not a life tariff!

Capital punishment IS THE ONLY WAY FORWARD, Everything else has failed. The justice system can **** foot about for the next 100 years,
but in the end theres only one thing that works.
People use the USA as a tool against it, but the Yanks are a different breed,
Some people say that we could sentence someone who's innocent  like before, well before we never had DNA back then.
Some people also said that, Some of these murderers wouldn't care if they were sentenced to death, if thats the case, why do they run away if being chased by someone with a knife or gun. So bring it back and see how brave these kids are once the first one is given the death penalty..

If the law bumps them off legally, they will not kill again.

Saddos post is not racist it’s actually pretty accurate there is no point in been in denial about these things two were sent down yesterday in Manchester  for killing a young lad with a knife there name were not smith or jones either.
