Manchester City's Bernardo Silva has been banned for one match and fined £50,000 after an FA commission accepted he "did not intend" a tweet about team-mate Benjamin Mendy to be "racist".

"Can't even joke with a friend these days."

A tweet sent to 300 million twitter users is not a "joke with a friend".

Same in Ireland when one politician asked parliament why so many billions of cash has left the country for Nigeria..........vilified as a racist

I don't know the figures but you can't just assume incitement because a question was asked.

The Ireland one came as a surprise to me, I didn't know Africans were homing in.

It is the second time in recent weeks that Mr Grealish has made controversial comments about African immigrants. At a public meeting about a proposed direct provision centre in Oughterard, Co Galway in October, he claimed the type of people to be accommodated in the centre would be “economic migrants from Africa” whom he described as “spongers”.

John Barnes has just spoken very well on Radio 5.

He said the portrayal of black people with big lips is not a negative image because it's a true and accurate portrayal. Therefore, how can it be racist.

Barnes called for images of black people to be celebrated not labelled as racist.

Simples. Don't communicate with people of another race and then you can never be accused of being racist.

The best thing to do is avoid blacks altogether.  Stick to your kith and kin; you can't 'offend' those.
