It is a trilogy I would say Fantasy and Science Fiction

I am sure I have seen a film of one of these The Golden Compass was not bad

whether this is any good I can't say....I will give it a miss

zero idea what is going on, had to adjust sound on tv to hear the voices of actors over the music.

not read the books

probably stick with it , ....nowt else on...

I used to pay good money on a fri night down in Soho to see the gobblers.

Very disappointed with the programme;it’s almost as bad as ‘name of the Rose’ which is totally unintelligible. Have now given up on both.

I hate to agree with Dr Crippen but this programme is bad.
It looks like the outcome of giving a free-hand to the BBC costume department to make Enid Blyton contemporary.
