We are all  (mostly) at fault for this, but even at my local remembrance parade there were certain
groups of people that in the past would just of been part of the public watching but now elevated into
a position of being up there with a wreath.

is the social media generation to blame?

Does this 'group of people' consist of kids or adults?
Report Callisto-moon November 10, 2019 1:27 PM GMT
adults.

I think its safe to say that the social media generation has nothing to do with this. The product was created by adults and the group consists of adults. If my reasoning is correct, the social media generation cannot be blamed for this.

England and its people have become lazy and soft.

SO if i have this right, a very stupid generation(lets say the 70s and 80s gen) gave birth to a generation which it referred to as the social media generation. Then it gave this generation a bunch of social media tools. Then the social media generation got spoiled, which in turn affected the stupid generation. And this effect is the social media generation's fault?

Have I got this right?

Social media accentuates one's insecurity and gullibility. It also exhibits the frailties and pretentiousness of some users.

Well, the social media generation could always STOP using social media, could they not?

It makes them even more stupid for using something that is stupid to begin with.

How would they know when to stop if they are stupid,?

I think people have always wanted to be noticed

But in the past we did not have phones that could take selfies....so it is now more apparent

Difficult to take a selfie with the old plug in to the wall black telephone, you could not take one with a call box phones either

just my own opinionLaugh

Of course there no social media either because there was no Internet

Pity I would have liked to see Dinosaurs liveSad
