Cab Drivers Licence

Saw that on TV this morning.
They get someone else to sit the test for them.

Don't blame them, blame the people who allow them to get away with it.
Typical public sector department.
They're all paid to drink tea and have time off while planning for early retirement.

There are asians from all over the North go to a small Lancashire town for licences ( for a fee of course) I think they dole out well over a thousand and have only a small population.

Have a guess who the majority of the perpetrators from?

Are there any Chaps of the Book involved ??

One of these colleges, Vista Training Solutions in NEWHAM, east London, offered to take the tests for several BBC researchers for £500 per BTec.

Wolverhampton taxi drivers accused of serious sex crimes

City of Wolverhampton Council has increased the number of licences it issues eightfold since the Deregulation Act 2015 was introduced, meaning drivers no longer needed to live or work in the area of the local authority that granted them a licence.

This week, the government said it was tightening taxi safety guidelines and considering stopping drivers from operating hundreds of miles away from where they were licensed.  RIGHTY OH !! Its foooking November they have obviously Done SWEET FANNY ADAMS !!!!

They're going to try it on if they're given the chance, and the authorities bend over backwards to avoid upsetting them.

You can't blame them, blame the do-gooders and hand-wringers who created this atmosphere, where everyone in employment is afraid to challenge these people for fear of being labelled a racist.

We need a big change of attitude in this country.

Wolverhampton licensing bosses have insisted they informed relevant authorities when serious reports of crimes were made, but several councils have told the BBC they were unaware of the allegations.
The BBC has been unable to determine whether the drivers accused of offences have faced criminal proceedings.

Yes that would be Because they have not Faced any Proceedings ,Probably because when it comes down to it No one knows WTF is driving the Cabs .......

After "Worboys" Carry on a fully Licensed black Cab driver, you would think ,They would be a little more careful as to who
they are letting Ferry young women and Ladies about ,,,

But the majority if them cannot drive competently let alone professionally. I live in Cheam/Sutton Surrey. However, every time I drove in places like Southall (occasionally), Mitcham, Newham, Croydon, Tooting and nearby areas I regularly encountered aggressive and inconsiderate driving eg late changing lane; cutting in without a signal at the last moment esp at filter traffic lights; unnecessary hooting; speeding; incorrect timed or no signal. But, not in Cheam, Sutton, Epsom, Benstead and nearby areas the standard is different.

Also, from informed sources their children are more challenging when learning to drive as they do tend to display similar traits eg "I know how to drive...I'm a good driver...I'm a learner, tough, if sloppy with basic driving skill, I'm ready for the test when clearly they are not", etc. They are irritatingly arrogant and possess enormous false confidence - very good with The Theory - but Practical below average.

I'd rather take public transport or the black cab than be driven in a mini-cab or Uber. I'll reconsider if I know in advance the driver I'm getting prior to getting in a mini-cab or Uber but that will be construed as racist, and not safety.

I think it's high time the relevant authorities conduct a competency driving and English language proficiency test prior to renewing their licence to trade.
