First Wave is the finest science fiction series ever made imo.
Billions & Bosch are two decent series. |

I watched Boardwalk Empire recently and was pleasantly surprised as it has not had much praise. I preferred it to the Sopranos mainly because of the acting and characters, especially Steve Buscemi. It also was better because it was based on real gangsters, capone, lucky luciano etc.

There was a Harlan Coben series on Sky a couple of years ago called The Five which was sensationally good. One of the finest things I’ve watched in fact.

Harlen Coben is a decent author, especially his early novels.

The brother is seriously crazy about a Danny de Vito series, I think he's a bit of a gangster, can't remember the name though, It must be a Netflix show, I'm sure a Chit chatte has seen it.

They were just milking the franchise. You shouldn't have expected much. |

Should have ended a series or 2 earlier and the films were always going to be dreadful in this day and age
"A breaking bad movie" should tell us more are planned ![]() Sorry but without the main character from the TV series there's no point. Pinkman was a good character for about 2 series and then became a parody of himself. |

Reading a Coben book at the moment.
His books have puzzles and mystery aplenty , I find them hard to put down once started. As for Boardwalk Empire , it was just a little too slow at times . |

Justified a shocking omission from these lists.
As for BB, think the train hijack episode in the final series is probably the final single episode of any tv programme. Ridiculously good. |

I have just started watching the series "Arrow" & it's quite good so far.

annie - despite being a fiction the Sopranos is based on the DeCavalcante Family from New Jersey. Apparently a particularly violent bunch.
