Always gets rave reviews and to be honest its crazy how good this show was in my opinion Crazy

I know there's been a lot of talk about the Arthur Fleck character in the joker, but this TV show did the into madness character a lot better than that.

To nick a phrase from a character. "madness as you know is like gravity, all it requires is a littlle pussssh"

Joker now has a massive following, but those fans need to be pointed in the direction of Falling Down and Breaking Bad to get a better grasp of that type of genre in my honest opinion.

Joker is massively overrated, appeals to the incels only

Breaking Bad - first 3 series very good, some good stuff afterwards, but way too much mission impossible type nonsense that undermined the realism of the characters that had been established earlier.

Realism was also lessened by the rule that they could only say the f word once or twice per season, when they'd be saying it every minute in the circumstances.

Also the way Hank finds out who Heisenberg is was lame to say the least.

Not in the same class as The Sopranos. It had the potential to be but writers were seduced by fan service once it became  popular. David Chase had his vision and did not care what fans wanted.

I don't think Walter White goes mad at all.

He just becomes his true self and realizes his potential. At least up til the last season when he becomes an absurd Bond villain.

I thought the 1st series was the best as there was no over the top stuff

I found Walt letting 'Jane' choke on her own vomit quite cold and disturbing, to just stand there whilst someone you have no friction with chokes to death takes some disturbed mind in my opinion. Yes she does know about them but it takes a fu**ed up man to stand there watching a harmless young woman choke to be honest.

And for that reason I would consider him mad

Have always threatened to watch breaking bad because of the buzz around it, will do someday.

Until that happens the 2 best series IMO, have been, The Wire and Fargo series.

The endings are always going to be a let down though, because they've gone round the earth story wise and any type of ending is going to contradict some sort of personality trait or whatever

I thought him letting Pinkman go was a nice touch, it was him that took Pinkman and absolutely fu**ed his life up, his love interests were murdered or killed, his parents hated him, he got beat on every series Laugh. Its always weird to see an older man and a younger one strike up a relationship like that, the older man has experience and knows what buttons to press. So it was nice to see him free Pinkman at the end.

Beat me to it 626 - I also found Better Call Saul more entertaining. Started to get bored with Breaking Bad but saw it through; didn't rate El Camino either.

As for Pinkman; have you ever seen better teeth on a junkie?

I agree with most on here.  I adored breaking bad at the beginning but it did go downhill a bit after.

Yes it was

It was Andy Gomes after being tackled by Son

It looked an awful tackle and Son was sent off, although Son my not have intended it to be as bad as it was

Gomes fell awkwardly

He didn't fk Pinkman's life up. Pinkman was wanted as Captain Cook and Walter saw him escape arrest but didn't say anything. Later he went to his house and blackmailed/recruited him to sell his product. Walter only helped him become a bigger criminal than he already was.

Homeland the best, incredible series

The Americans, Fargo, and Ozark were great. I wouldn't waste any time watching those three if a new season came out tomorrow.

Narcos, Le Casa de Papel, Boardwalk Empire also good.

Breaking Bad and Prison Break two of the most exciting series I have watched. Sadly both were overdone, I guess because they became so popular, people got greedy and wanted to milk the franchise.

The Wire and Homeland may have been great but I could never finish them. Homeland has a lot of inaccuracies which is how I heard about it at first. People speaking arabic on the streets of islamabad ffs, how stupid did the director consider his audience to be?

Game of Thrones the only season that really p1sses me off because of the hype it created. Didn't find anything special in it. For me, Stranger Things was more exciting than GoT.

I will admit to getting bored with The Sopranos. Prison Break, for me, was way over the top and too far-fetched to continue watching.

As previously said, Breaking Bad was pretty good, Better Call Saul is more entertaining and now (today in fact) I will commence watching 'The Americans' (free on Amazon Prime)
