Should have really called this thread bad quiz shows, but one of the worst had to have been supermarket sweep, unless you liked dales ass.

divided was the best, was on few years ago with andrew castle.
had 3 people answering questions to build pot of money , then a  clock ran down and they had to argue how to divide the pot up between 3 of them ( stopped about halfway through for a breather ) , so one who answered most would naturally argue it was themselves. Nearly came to blows few times, think that's why it was dropped, probably fighting in the changing roomsGrin
think there's some footage on youtube

"And live from Norwich, it's the quiz of the week." 1 point for whoever names the show and a bonus point to name the presenter. One for the dinosaurs on here!

was a teacher on from sunderland on sale of century, went minus in first half of show ( pretty impossible unless you're retarded ) and got so much stick back at school had to resign.

Wasn't there a team on University Challenge a few years back that were in the minuses, to the extent that they stopped deducting points?

Somewhat coincidentally, half of the Young Ones did a Comic Strip with Nicholas Parsons. Think it might've been Mr Jolly Lives Next Door, with Peter Cook as the eponymous 'hero'.
