HGS - the After Eight brown box had an Irish Cream filling instead of mint.
They also done them with Orange filling in an Orange Box and Lemon filling in a Yellow box. |

Anyone remember "Matchmakers", used to have them at the cinema with a choc ice and a carton of Kiora orange squash. I've given away 3 boxes tonight to trick or treaters, tangy orange from Tesco only a quid a pop.

They still make different flavours today but packaging is different. Normal green box with an Orange band on box for Orange, etc etc.

Matchmakers are great but when you start eating them you can`t stop until box is empty.
Frys 5 Centre was my all time favourite chocolate Bar. |
|
By:
Well I never knew that. Cheers Mac. Yes Frys 5 centres, mmmm.
Matchmakers are also delish and you ain't wrong about starting them. Old chocolate bar I used to like, Golden Cup. Bloomin lovely. Used to get different forms and sizes depending on price. Think they are extinct now. ![]() |

Nigel Farage was my schoolmate, he was a good bloke. The teachers all hated him as they they could not deal with him.

Matchmakers were always a Xmas treat in our house, loved them but were a poor man's version of after eights
