Pineapple chunks, they bring back memories, being the horrible sod as I was, used to get the toilet cakes out of the urinals, cut them down to size and mix them in with Pineapple chunks, and give them to the wally kids to eat.

I'm more partial to a hard boiled sweet now days but can't resist crunching the sods early doors, surely nobody sucks one of these things til it's literally disolved?? I'm talking pear drops, rhubarb and custartd, cough candy type confectionary..I still have no fillings and I am 47!

even as a child when i saw my mum smash up bags of nut brittle with a hammer i was thinking this stuff can't be good for you . chocolate limes were the worst , crunch them and a pale green needle popped up from the shell and stuck into the roof of your mouth . happy days !

That first picture has a brown box of after eights along with the green which is still going today. Can't remember the brown ones. What was the difference?

Never ever saw/tasted brown after eights either HGS, Windsor will check that out. Not sure if these were sold in England, emerald sweets, Oatfield Confectionery Ireland Ltd, caramel and nougat choclates

HGS - the After Eight brown box had an Irish Cream filling instead of mint.
They also done them with Orange filling in an Orange Box and Lemon filling in a Yellow box.

Anyone remember "Matchmakers", used to have them at the cinema with a choc ice and a carton of Kiora orange squash. I've given away 3 boxes tonight to trick or treaters, tangy orange from Tesco only a quid a pop.

Old chocolate bar I used to like, Golden Cup. Bloomin lovely. Used to get different forms and sizes depending on price. Think they are extinct now.
