I have been reading some stuff on general betting & find it does work for the old users I have blocked, but not for the ones I have added recently.

I've never understood why people report and block other users. 19 years I've been on here and I have never done either, if you don't like someone then just ignore them and jobsagoodun I would have thought.

I have never reported anyone, but have blocked plenty. When you think back to the start of the forum, there was a significant proportion of proper punters, discussing betting & sport. Now these folk are very much the minority, unfortunately. Chit chat has been much less plagued by the idiots than the horse racing and greyhound racing sections.

I am an old cynic  but Plumpton is the epitome of the small local racecourse setup  - quite a lot of local trainers  etc  fans of course etc - very old school.

Stow, I have blocked 6 of the lunatics on the horse racing forum with no problem, they can post all the crap they want but I cannot read any of it, thanks be..

The forum's more tolerable when you filter out the folk that post stuff of no interest to you.
The blocking seems to be working now. Either something was not working when I first posted, or there is a delay of some sort.

The restaurant at plumpton racecourse, with the balcony overlooking the final furlong, is very good.
