brexit has only become such a big issue cos the opposition remoaner MPs have consistently blocked it and dreamed ever more absurd ways of delaying it with bercow's help

if it had been waived through the minimum of fuss they could have got back to attacking the government on the usual issues which should be an open goal after nearly 10 years in office. instead due to their own incompetence they've made this election largely about brexit on which labour's position at least is absolutely hopeless and indefensible

If and when it happens a mass disposal of Labour MPs in earnest, no doubt; an Election about Brexit (for most esp me).

How many of the inept Labour shadow front benchers will be extinct post the election? The majority I hope.

I think Labour will do better than you think

Its so split its going to be Tory winning most seats but not by much, I can see a Labour/SNP coalition

No worries sacked MPs will be comforted by redundancy aid; the Labour canvassers will experience my wrath when they turn up at my door - I'll rip them apart.

Lib Dems surely wont win more than 20 seats ffs, so why they think they are some sort of king makers or even actual majority leaders god only knows

And the first thing we hear from Jo Swinson is that she’s standing to be Prime Minister. Personal profile before people.

Not one mention of East Dunbartonshire

she has to be one of the thickest (there are plenty of contenders) ever to sit in the House; it just shows you how feckin bad Ed Davey is if he couldn't beat her in a straight up fight

She's facking delusional that one

But what concerns me most is that people might well vote tory as a one off just because they are sick to death of it all. Give the tories the working majority so they can get through this "deal" and get it all done and dusted. I think people might be getting tired of it and will vote accordingly. Thus giving up their workers rights, then the human rights etc.

You get what's coming

My dad is voting tory and he's always voted Labour (well at least until Corbyn became leader, he didn't vote at the last "election")

But he's voting for tory "just this time" so they can this deal through CrazyCrazySadCry

I despair I really do. Anyone voting for that clueless bunch of divs in the lib dems are pretty brainless esp though.

Parliament will now be dissolved at one minute past midnight next Wednesday, leader of the Commons Jacob Rees-Mogg confirmed, after which the parties will then begin campaigning almost immediately.
