Would this be the same Jo Swinson who once wanted out of the E.U. but changed her tune when hubby received a €3,500,000 grant?

An odious hypocrite like most lefty liberals.

Democracy is a rolling process and please always remeber it was the hardline brexit politicians that voted down May's deal for us to leave the EU.

Jesus, we may have a communist/marxist party in charge trying to dismantle capitalism. The neandathals
in the north, midlands and north east would vote Labour if they were jointly run by Fred West and Harold Shipman. Ironically it was the same boneheads who would vote Labour 100% of the time who voted for brexit despite `their' party being overwhelmingly pro European. Couldnt make it up.

But we would accept them as the next government.

A referendum is a moment in time, single question that is far too complicated to be sorted easily/quickly.

Of the brexit voters I have spoken to almost all admitted they didnt understand the economic impact and they were basically voting to protest about `something'. A couple who I at least credit with a few brain cells are ideologically opposed to the EU which I can respect.  The first group of voters is exactly why you dont have referendums END OF.

You get in a mess in almost any walk of life when people make important decisions based on almost
no knowledge of a subject.
