I don't claim to know. I just don't accept your assertion that it's already 70m. I'll have a bet with you that the upcoming census is below 69m though, and assume the 1m illegals to be accurate.

The number of indigenous British living on these islands has remained constant @ 56,000,000 since the mid-70's . I'd wager this figure hasn't changed more than +/- 1%

The fact of the matter is the population growth is out of control 70 million today and growing by the day the UK is importing vast amounts of food from abroad already and we all know our dependency on imported food is only going to increase, its going to increase at the same time the world population is also increasing by 2050 estimates say there will 9.7 billion of us.
Will there be enough food for us all and can we still expect to buy food from the very countries that are driving population growth? Yes we can grow enough food here if we adopt the Dutch way of farming but this would require capable politicians and something we just do not have. |

You know the UK's population is growing out of control and will be if not already be over 70 million very soon, you know we have problems and you also know nothing is getting done about it this is going to be a disaster in the near future. |

I'm trying to say the population is NOT 70m and is not predicted to be until 2031. Sorry my previous post was so vague.

Do you accept it will be very soon officially there are where 67.6 million people in the UK as of 30 Sep 2019 this does not include any illegal immigrants. So very soon if not already the population will exceed 70 million either way there are far too many people here in the UK and that was my point in the first place sorry for being so vague.

Not sure it matters if it is 67.5 million or 70 million. The issues of food supply, schools, housing, traffic etc. etc. keep getting worse and will continue to do so.

partly due to an ageing poulation too ,so immigration is a mixed bag ,it has it's problems but you also need young bones ...you can't have a geriatric population
