I agree with lfc, the police and the courts are treating them far too lightly.
I heard it takes four coppers to carry one of these berks and dump then in the van. Surely it should only take two at most to drag them, and a dig in the ribs with a baton wouldn't do any harm either. And how many have been tasered, surely if you obstruct the police that is grounds for them to use a taser. Not on the vulnerable of course, just the gobby know-alls who can't shut up. |

The Met has handed out a record number of vegan meals to prisoners after arresting more than 1,100 Extinction Rebellion activists this week, MailOnline can reveal today.
Scotland Yard has had pallets of meat-free dishes and dairy-free drinks delivered to its police stations amid an influx of detainees following eco-protests across London. Inspector Brian Smith of Brixton station revealed the force had ordered in extra vegan portions after activists moaned about a lack of meat-free options in April. In a video posted to social media, Inspector Smith said: 'Well everyone knows we ran a bit low last time so this time we've got plenty. 'In fact yesterday a pallet load of vegan food was delivered so we've got plenty for everyone.' I can understand police sympathy for their cause?
But not perhaps their methods????? Antarctica is fine The Arctic is melting, less land mass, first victim Polar Bears, they must hunt on land But we fear an overall rise is sea levels, which would endanger some countries in coastal regions Whether this will actually happen, I have no idea myself? |
