Some of these athletes make ridiculous improvements as well
Like they go from being far down the order to dotting up in almost record times, no amount of training can see those improvements ffs, and the more you train the quicker the burn out, over-training can be a killer
Lance Armstrong was the poster boy and they ratted him out eventually, he was untouchable back in the day. He wasn't the first high profile cheat and he certainly wont be the last either.
Waiting for the day Usain Bolt is outed

As MJ points out, Hassan joined Salazaar AFTER he was being investigated. Inevitable and understandable for people to raise concerns about her association with him.
Her histrionics aren't helpful. Marvellous putdown by MJ.

Bolt had been very consistent from a young age breaking records, he holds the junior world 200m records for 15 year olds, 16's, 17's and 18's, and then the overall world record, he takes around 4-5 fewer steps over the 100m because of his height/longer strides, seems to me it's highly unlikely he has been a drug taker, counter argument for the theory it would break athletics if he was cheating, before his fame he was running fast times in a modern era with much more sophisticated drug testing systems that had already caught out former and current world record holders at the time such as Gaitland, Gay and Powell, also, now Bolt has gone they need that new star to replace him and they have someone like Coleman who's pb is 9.76, yet recently he was pulled up on having 3 whereabouts failures, he was later reinstated to run but they wouldn't have done that in the first place if they really wanted to protect the sports new top star, he is pretty much a shoe-in for Olympic Gold next year. His name though will always have the cloud over him.
I think Bolt is genuine and there is a lot of technical analysis as to why he runs so far apart from just having long strides, if you google 'Bolt's running technique', but can never say for definite.

was meant to also say 'before he was world famous' breaking junior records he didn't fail or miss drug tests, they wouldn't have had any problem revealing it then if he did provide positive tests because it wouldn't have harmed the sport being a relative unknown to the world in his teenage years.

darren it's always going to be debateable, you put across well reasoned comments on this subject but I'm very much on the side of the Jamaicans being juiced to the gills mainly because of the reasons given by Victor Conte in several interviews even though he always says 'he's suspicious' and acknowledges Bolts talent and physical attributes.
