lost the hearing, im first to have a go about women these days , but i do feel that these 50s born women have a case here , a lot of women of working age in the 60s,70s were housewifes , and definetly didnt get private/work pensions etc.
Pensions had to be equalised between men and women. But, governments (mainly Labour I believe) sat on the issue for too long, then there appeared to be a knee jerk reaction to the problem.
Certain that not enough was done to inform these women and that the equalisation should have been done in a more smooth manner.
BackTo60 was never going to win their case, but the more sensible WASPI approach might have had a little more chance - but I think its all too late anyway.
