Thursday is the day it may arrive,at the moment its heading straight towards Ireland.

In the olden days they would have said it was God's punishment for appointing an Indian homosexual as their leader. In the very old days the local king would be blamed for such a disaster, have his authority removed and his nipples cut off to prevent him ever being king again. Nowadays I imagine the people will stay indoors and watch Coronation Street instead.

By:
there will be no indoors if this thing hits us,now they say that the eye of this storm is taking dead aim at us,then they say it may not be as strong as they think, and we might not catch it,that it is coming up on the left hand side of Ireland and they say they know it will take a right turn, but at the moment they are not sure where it will take the right turn.
AND THEY PAY THERE GUYS A GRAND A WEEK TO TELL US THAT. ![]() |
|
By:
then the news reader asked"when will this storm hit us"?and the answer was"well,we are not sure if we will get it or not,if it does come it will be around Thursday-ish or Friday Morning or possibly Friday afternoon"its a thousand mile away from us at the moment"
I AM NOT JOKING A GRAND A WEEK AFTER TAX. ![]() |

Aye it’ll be wet & windy, but let’s not get carried away eh Up here in Scotland we call it AUTUMN" ![]() https://twitter.com/WindyWilson88/status/1178585653442990080 |

Emergency meeting at 4 today as now looking a high probability of it passing over Ireland, they don't normally meet unless it is serious.

Weathermen are almost as overrated as GPs.

Strange bit of weather arriving ,wired cold easterly winds last night but the cold temps will protect the British Isles from the wind damage although if it freezes overnight it’s prob bad news ,more worried about a big wind direction change (180) on the east coast of the uk coinciding with a big tide ,Other than that gunna be very wet but nothing too outrageous. Overall a few bins blown over and not the best day to put washing out on Thursday .But potential exists so be aware and take a brolly and anchor on way to pub .

Here ya go, Mr Neck and any other panic merchants out there ...
Why can't the UK be hit by a hurricane? Simple. Take #HurricaneLorenzo as example. They need sea surface temps >26°C to sustain as hurricanes. Once they drift into cooler waters they weaken and become post-tropical storms and depressions... Our waters are never warm enough! https://twitter.com/WindyWilson88/status/1179079045037867008 As a precaution though, I would recommend changing your Betfair password and not telling them what it is. What kinda numbnut tells anynne their password? ![]() |

It is a storm, orange warning 6 counties and yellow warning for the rest.
Wind speeds will reach 65-80kph with gusts of 100-130kph. Fallen trees, power cuts, flooding are expected. It looks a "bad" storm but not quite as bad as Orphelia which was a nationwide red warning. |

Was up last night having a wee swatch at Azores webcams but can honestly say I seen nowt of wind or wave ,seems that the storm has either weakened or is much further west . Have emailed Mick Fish a hey mikey thars a hear thars a hurricane coming ....but nae reply as yet ,tbh he is getting on a bit and maybe I overstepped the mark a bit ,had to stop watching his week ahead vids on netweather.com as they were making me lose the will to live . Anyways as to the storm summit just ain’t quite right and not sure but the reports are too sketchy and ambiguous and either it’s a lot further west and much weaker or there is some very naughty peeps about . Here is another site that gives yet another take on it . https://magicseaweed.com/news/xl-hurricane-pulse-set-for-europe/11548/
