I am not sure why you seem to think I have bet 1-3 on anything?

I very rarely back anything odds on.

And I haven't a single bet on any Brexit market.

I do beg your pardon, when you said they were no-hopers in northern seats, I presumed you'd lived up to your name and gone in heavily on 0-9 seats.

They are no hopers in Northern seats.

But you think they can win seats elsewhere?

If you go to the politics forum, I have quoted some prices on them for some constituency seats in the north.

Not really, no.

So when you say they're no hopers in northern seats, you really mean they're no hopers full stop iyo?

So you must see 1-3 for 0-9 seats as exceedingly good value?

As I said earlier, if it's odds on, it's extremely unlikely I would bet on it.

Politics betting can be extremely volatile prices wise. If you take a very short price on something and the polls turn against you, there is unlikely to be an easy way out.

Aren't you contradicting yourself, if you consider them no-hopers to win any seat, never mind 10, then surely 1-3 must seem like finding money in the street?

Let me try and put it another way. Let's suppose the next election occurs on schedule ie the year 2022. If you place a bet now at say 1/3 on anything, first of all you will have tied up a possibly large portion of your bank for three years. At the end of those three years will your bet still be a genuine 1/3 shot and more importantly, it still has to win to show a return on your initial (possibly substantial) outlay. It's not for me.

When do you think the next election will be, pp?

Within the next six months probably but at odds on I won't be backing it!

Totally disagree. If Brexit has not happened when the election is on, they will win Northern seats, especially if a deal is struck with the Tories.

Name some northern seats they will win in your opinion.

Blackpool, Burnley, Fylde, Hyndburn, Rochdale, Rossendale, Wigan, Wyre from the North West. Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Stockton & Sunderland from the NE.

In fact any Labour heartland that overwhelmingly voted leave and has been shat on must be in the running.

If the Brexit Party (currently polling at around 13%) stand in these seats (likely) and the conservatives do also (certain) then how will the Brexit Party have any chance of winning them?

As I have said, they would need to come together for it to happen. If they did then it's certainly game on. A  long shot I know.

Also, the key thing is again, how Brexit stands at the time of election. It is of massive importance.

labour noarrthern seats
tory independents
London
Scotland

I,d take farage bluster of 60/100 seats majority with plenty of salt,he,s that confident wont even tell people where he,s sitting in case opposition throw kitchen sink at him, thought he wanted to bring on the fight, leave would win by more blah, blah why wouldn't you want to bring it on fairly obvious he,ll be sitting in a huge leave area, why does he think he,ll lose the argument, debate

The last Farage led single issue party won the EU elections on a derisory turnout but failed to win seats at Westminster. Sound familiar?

how does farage sit in a seat then take time out to campaign in naarthern seats ,telling people to vote tory on his say so,which is his pitch to Johnson, that would meanm a 100 of his proposed Brexit mp,s ,in his words primed and readied to go,standing aside
assuming we,re still in the eu, how the fook does a party who,s only pledge is to be the only party to deliver a so called clean break Brexit, stanbd down for a party that has failed to honour that very pledge,
if your prepared to stand your troops down for that, there,s nothing left in the world giving the circumstances you wouldn't stand aside for,so how do you stand in other seats,
