Former education minister Sam Gyimah – one of 21 Tory rebels who had the whip withdrawn – has also taken to Twitter, accusing the government of trying to downplay the document leaked in August.

The leaked document wasn’t out of date. This isn’t project fear. It is a sober assessment of what could happen.

No deal is not ‘vanishingly inexpensive’ or a ‘bump in the road’. This is only a part of the chaos and long term damage our country would suffer. We must stop this.

hi jolly,i was going to say the Queen could declutter parliament,but i expect the general public will declutter it when ever the next general election is held,and i guess a lot on both sides of the house will end up in the trash can.

Some delusional people here still don't know what democracy is, don't know how the law is applied and haven't got a clue on Parliamentary Sovereignty but at least they voted for itHappy!

Now they have it they don't seem to like itSad!
