I'm an independent observer. I'd have Bercow as a Wet as Thatcher likened them. Guess if he was still a serving MP, he'd be one of the 21 who got the elbow last week.
Let's assume he was a leaving inspired ex Labour MP or even an ex Tory but in the Bill Cash mode, I wonder what then his take on parliamentary procedure would be? I can guess.
That analysis makes me think it was just the luck of the draw that Bercow was in the hot seat at this time. Or not, depending on your view over all this.
