Yes. But the way of blackmail was somewhat sophisticated. Theory goes that once Epstein had compromising info on clients and their relations with children slaves he got paid by way of large investments in his private equity firm, on which he took commission. That way there's no out of the ordinary transactions and a mutual interest between the parties with the compromat never having to see the light of day
