It should just be Boris and Mogg

Those pair is all that's needed, boot the rest out and bring in a load of other brexit lot from the streets, have them sit there chanting obscenities at the other bench.

media might finally to be coming round to the idea that far from being up in arms the public not at all unsupportive of all this turmoil this week. something radical had to be done and people not gonna be losing any sleep over clearing out people who have spent 3 years blocking brexit
Report Baphornet September 8, 2019 12:11 AM BST
correct Mr Mafeking. Tories have a 14% lead in the latest poll. This making laws up rigmarole is going to backfire badly come the polls

Report impossible123 October 30, 2019 5:52 PM GMT
Good move by Ms Rudd. I think she's lost her political nous recently. A great shame none on the shadow front bench echoed her sentiment eg Ms Abbot, Dawn Butler (nodding dog) and Ms Osamor.

It must be quite annoying for the voters though as pointed out either in this thread or another

You wont even get the chance to bin them off, and then wave them off with a middle finger. They'll be back once the dust settles, people in this day and age forget very quickly.
Report SontaranStratagem October 30, 2019 5:58 PM GMT
The only way to get change is to do it yourself. You ain't voting yourself out of it.
Report SontaranStratagem October 30, 2019 5:59 PM GMT
Strange how quiet the media is regarding these "resignations" though

Soames of course won't stand in Mid Sussex. Central Office has a list of 200 potential candidates Shocked

Total shambles. The candidate will be forced on the local party. Noone will have met or known them.
Report SontaranStratagem October 30, 2019 6:15 PM GMT
The whole thing is a total shambles

they are trying to engineer consent for their s*** deals and removal of their own rights

Its bound to be p*** poorly done because to many people are calling them out, so they've created this shambolic mess to trick people into up their rights at the ballot box

Good luck if you do give it, you'll deserve everything you get.
Report SontaranStratagem October 30, 2019 6:18 PM GMT
Instead of realising they've been rumbled and giving it up

They've decided nah, we're going to demand their bloody consent and if they don't give it we'll do whatever we want anyway

There's talk of making voting compulsory CrazyLaugh so basically you'd be forced into giving them your consent. Its communism through the back facking door
Report mafeking October 30, 2019 6:23 PM GMT
it's a complete joke that candidates with no previous connection to a constituency can be parachuted in by the various parties machines. no wonder you end up with MPs who just take the mickey out of their voters
Report SontaranStratagem October 30, 2019 6:36 PM GMT
Mafeking

Strengthens the point that its all a load of b0llocks to get your consent, just "parachute" these clown in and once people have given their vote they've given their consent

People are no longer voting for that individual anymore either, they are voting for whoever the party leader is essentially. Which totally goes against what its all about anyway.

"I'm voting tory because they wanna leave", well the person you're voting for might not want to leave for a start CrazyCrazy
Report SontaranStratagem October 30, 2019 6:38 PM GMT
Its basically become a party vote not a representative for your area vote

Like Gloria De Piero wasn't even born or didn't even grow up in Ashfield ffs

Boris is going to have his pick of which seat he runs for CrazyCrazy

The whole system is facked to put it bluntly
Report SontaranStratagem October 30, 2019 6:46 PM GMT
The labour candidate in your area might want to fight for your GP surgeries, your schools within in your area, might be a great bloke/woman

But you ain't voting for that person because their party doesn't wanna leave the EU CrazyCrazy

So you give it to a total k*ob who gives zero f***s about your area at all, hence your area getting totally neglected for the next 5 years

People have lost sight of what an "representative" for their area actually is, they've given their consent to these people who don't give a fack about anything other than the big corporate big wigs

But to be fair all MPs have become self serving b**tards because of this as well

Tories the new Liberals & Labour the new Tories? That leaves Farage as the leader of the new (again) Labour Party

I think the MPs at the House Of Commons ought to be more equally represented by a diversity in professions rather than stuffed with mainly money grabbing lawyers (ambulance chasers); greedy business; trade unionists; councillors or career politicians. I'd like to see more accountants, doctors, teachers and social workers amongst them.
Report Baphornet October 31, 2019 8:36 PM GMT
i don't think Doctors would like the hours tbph; plus they may get surgery mixed up
Report Baphornet October 31, 2019 8:39 PM GMT
social workers would all be commies & there's enough fiddling (of one sort or another) without accountants getting involved in Chambers as well
Report Baphornet October 31, 2019 8:41 PM GMT
teachers? A severe lack of discipline - or how to apply it, would be a curse in the House

Report impossible123 October 31, 2019 8:49 PM GMT
I'd like a more balanced and considered view in any discussion in the House Of Commons. Oh, I forgot to add fishermen too (ideal for discussing Fisheries Policies).
