Strangely, Londoners have always had a bob on themselves, can't think why.
Especially when you see the way most of them live. I think this attitude emerged after the Blitz, when they thought they were achieving something as Hitler bombed their houses to rubble. Well they've got nothing to feel proud of now, London is the last place you'd want to live if work wasn't an issue. A relative moved down there 30 years ago, due to retire and can't get away fast enough. Still plenty good enough for the likes of Whisperingdeath, and as long as they stay there we'll all be happy. |
