Did he also have an F1 racing team with an unusual six wheel racing car?

evening EK. John is sadly no longer with us; he retired rom CH4 Racing in the mid 90s. And if memory serves, he was the "mystery tipster" on TV, who liked the odd tri-cast. He was fond of the odd tipple or 3 and was far more knowledgable than just a results reader

Here is when he retired Bap and he mentions the "mystery tipster". You were right (as per usual).

p.s. ..……… I`m killing time as there is a rain delay (Only in America
) in NY City football game at HT. Hurrah! Finally started. The tricast above was actually for the Cesarewitch and video runs out as horses are loaded in stalls ![]() |

Loads and loads of racing stuff Bap. One gets more nostalgic as the years pass. Are you looking for anything in particular?

not really, just surprised it's on there. I thought it was mainly music vids; well that's what i look for on there. I shall have to have a good root around it

Hi Bap,
Thanks for that. He was interesting to listen to and his knowledge of horse racing history was extensive. Hi MM, Thanks for the YT clip. It was that excerpt from 2000 Guineas day in 1993 which prompted my question. What I found interesting was the NH presence in Newmarket until the early 20th century; this changed due to the winters. |
