Awarded £20k compo.

He is 70, mind.

Suppose it depends on your ahem, circumstances, but I don't think I'd be too happy with £20k.

Could have been worse they could have cut off his entire WillyShocked

Probably would not make that much difference to his life

Compo probably fair IMO

Would it make any difference, need someone who has had it done to answer that

I suppose if it affects his love life adversely, he could make a bigger claim?

Probably wanted to keep his pension credits....Reasoning why the settlement figure was so low.

On a totally unrelated note...Jeremy Corbyn has had an idea to win back the Jewish vote.

How do you circumcise someone by mistake? Serious question. I can see how you might lop off the wrong leg or transplant the left kidney instead of the right, but ...

Ah, unless he was the wrong patient completely, I suppose.

NHS have got off lightly here: that's a snip at only £20K.

Selling your foreskin for 20k sounds like a great financial opportunity to me. The only problem is that at 70 you aren't going to be able to make much use of that 20k.

If my penis was 70 years old and I was 30, i'd happily trade my foreskin for 20k.

It's normally practice to mark the thing needing operated on so it's obvious to the surgeon, when I went in for my reduction they ran out of whang grade ink.

This op :

A man who was mistakenly circumcised when he went to hospital for a routine bladder procedure has been awarded £20,000 in compensation.
Terry Brazier was meant to be having botox injected in his bladder when he went in for treatment at the Leicester Royal Infirmary last summer.

However, there was a mix-up and afterwards Mr Brazier said he was told "sorry, but we've circumcised you".
The hospital said it was "deeply and genuinely sorry".

The 70-year-old said after the procedure he was left waiting for two hours until they broke the news and he just replied "Oh, have you?"

"What else could I say? I was stunned, I couldn't believe what they were telling me," he said.
