The Fez is a religious hat. When Tommy Cooper, well known follower of the religion of peas, slumped forward on stage, people thought he was just facing mecca. And it was a fair point as there was a bingo hall opposite the theatre.

I propose the term Islamadice which is more in line with the current definition of Islamaphobia;(semicolon for mouse) noun noun: Islamophobia dislike of or prejudice against Islam or Muslims, especially as a political force. |

My best guess is that he's been charged with an islamophobic offence previously. And it's no better or worse than anyone elses guess here as there's more holes in this little production than in the victims of an ISIS firing squad.
