Art Garfunkel is a f@nny threw a hissy fit when told he wasn't aloud to light his 'doobie' when my cousin (at the time was a massage therapist) told him any smoking was against the rules of the building, yes a proper f@nny.

Have to agree!

Just like George Michael would not have been anything without Andrew Ridgley
Report Whisperingdeath July 28, 2019 7:30 PM BST
But he had a great voice to go with Paul Simon's lyrics, as perfect as you can get imho

Paul Simon was definitely underrated as a vocalist

Acapella version of 'The Only Living Boy In New York' is sensational
https://youtu.be/jEZcnXuzPck

(although he has the benefit of an echo chamber.)

But the harmonies of the two together, transcend overwhelmingly, any solo vocals they did, either as S&G or in solo careers.
The '...silently for me' harmony at the end of 'Homeward Bound' choruses touches God.

* referring to the S&G 'Greatest Hits' version of 'Homeward Bound' which is a far superior acoustic (live) version, without the clunky drums

Paul Simon a gigantic songwriting talent ,of which there are few,Art Garfunkel ,a good singer of which there are very ,very, many. So the answer to the question is almost certainly NO.
