Whilst researching my family history I got distracted and started searching for amusing names in the Victorian birth, marriage and death records.  Best I found was Fanny Hole.  I also looked for modern-day famous names.  I'm sure I remember finding a David Beckham.  He'd have had no idea how famous his name would one day be, albeit with someone else.

Guy I worked with came from Glasgow.
He used to drink in a pub called Deans Bar.
The owner wan Effingham Deans.
