do wah,i was a notorious drinker in my day,but one day i was walking down a street and i crossed the invisible line that every addict crosses when he gives it up,its not a crime to drink so dont punish yourself,but i will tell you something you may not know,its very easy to stay off drink once you make up your mind to do it.Everyone give out to me about my drinking and then one day a friend said to me"brass,you are a much nicer person when you dont have drink in you"and that changed my whole life ,someone had said something nice to me and i walked another few steps and then i crossed the invisible and said to myself"Brass,you dont need drink,you are a much nicer person with no drink"and hey presto it worked .

no do wah,i study psychology and am interested how the mind works,thats possibility why i seen to express myself as strange,i also like you only had a jotter and a pencil in my school bag when i went to school back in the early fifties,i was lucky some guys had no school bags .

When I was 15 in my first year as an apprentice I won the apprentice of the year award at the firm I worked at .the prize was a month at ulswater outward bound school in the lake District .you were supposed to be 16 to go but i still went
The building where we stayed was right on the edge of lake ulswater .When no one was looking I remember standing on the edge of lake Windermere one day and I commanded it to part it's waters but it didn't .
